no. i don't. it concerns me more why that employee is acting this way. i talk to people and build relationship even if it's fleeting like wait staff or sales.

example:

mcd drive-thru window #1 to pay. this girl 20's had the nastiest scowl on her face. it was breakfast. i remember that scowl, well. it's the fortune 500 scowl. the work you to the bone corporation scowl.

so i said, you know..it's breakfast time..why the sad face?..and what are YOU doing here anyway? why aren't you in school instead of working here unless this is your career choice which is fine, but you don't look happy.

she said she graduated and is LPN and can't find work. where are you looking?..all the hospitals of course! i asked about traveling if she looked into it..the hottest thing in medical (florida) and she didn't know anything about it. which falls on her school..they should be assisting with placement. I suggested she start looking at that option..told her about the freedom vs. hospital (no politics). As a matter of a fact there is a company within a mile that is huge and does just that. she said she had another job to go to and then if it was open she'll stop by to get info and application.

i left that mcd and drove to the traveling nurse company. in my PJ's, i went up to the penthouse where their offices were located, asked if they were looking specifically recent LPN graduate. they sure as hell are! picked up an application and drove back to that mcd.

i don't subscribe to man's inhumanity to man. a few minutes of your time to help another?..i live my life this way.

Do you really think I can't figure out 35% of $30,000? I can just do it in my head, no need to use a calculator or a piece of paper, look at all the zeroes, you can throw those out, because after all, numbers are just placeholders for the concept.

I mean you understand that treating your customers shitty and having machines that are broken down all the time or the laundromat itself is in poor repair, and with trash all over the floor, that it might hurt your prospects for further business?

Correct, but it wasn't about people losing their jobs, it was about taking your business to someone who provides better service.

Why do you have a cell phone? Why not just use a telegraph?

I actually think you and London might suffer from some kind of disease if you think Rmoney was saying he enjoys it when people lose their jobs because he fired them.

I mean, I am not a Rmoney fan, he is an out of touch person and I don't really care for many of his policies, but he certainly did not mean he takes pleasure from people's unemployment with that statement. That would be ridiculous, but I wouldn't put it past you to believe he meant that after reading another person's thoughts or watching TV and hearing it there.
