Sure you could. I made a 20 site unit w/ 3x 10 3/4" airstones and a 30-60 gallon pump. I used a hole-saw to cut 2" circles and with the net pots, I would say it cost me about 30-40 bucks.

I have to speak up here, I do not believe that the tiny little air pump that comes in that auction on ebay is suffiecient for the 35+ gallons of water in that tub.

You need 500cc of air per gallon per minute. minimum, I use 2500+ per Min/gallon.

That air pump only puts out at MOST 2 LITERS of air/minute. Its good for 4 gallons of water.

You would need 5 minimum for the tub and the plants to live/.

Well, I disagree. I grew 8 OZs from one plant in that little bubbler, An 8-9 ft giant that I had to bend over to keep it away from my light. Hey you can always get another air pump I had 2 air pumps and 2 of those 6 holers going and ended up with two giant plants, the second large plant netted 6 OZs of dried bud. I harvested a couple of smaller ones earlier, plenty of air and 4ft long roots all curled around, They are great for a first grow and you can always add an air pump and more stones, A little 1/4 drill and Viola another airstone added. I think I paid 12.00 at a fish supply place for the second pump. it was about twice the output of the original, so I got a three way manifold and split it up between the two bubblers. The first grow I did, I only used the original pump and got 10 OZs from 2 plants in that single bubbler.

To Be honest this is more your Site so I cannot contend with your knowledge.

Just Saying do you really think those 10 dollar air pumps are gonna be good enough for all that water?

Apparently it does for you,

IMO (which isnt really note worthy)

Thats pry enough oxygen to keep your plant alive... but if you want ridiculous DWC growth saturate the water with SO MUCH OXYgen that it becomes more oxygen bubbles than water almost. LOL

Just MO (which will probally be killed cause I only have 20 posts here and I am talking to a guy who has 5k, LOL)

You guys are just talking about different tub sizes, ganjagoddess is talking about a 35+ gallon tub and I think medicineman is talking about the 10 gallon one in the ebay auction. A little dual outlet pump might work on 35 gallons but the plants won't thrive like they would with a 10 gallon tub and the same pump.

Thanks Entropic.... Your right I never even looked at the E-bay Auction, those usually strike me a cheap rip off Bubblers, and looking back at it,

$54 dollars shipped and I could build 2-3 of these from Walmart parts..

WHAT ever happened to the the RULE that was at OG.com stating

400-500cc of air per gallon/per minute....

I have always used that rule, and it is accurate when you see the diff.
