Why does it have to be 100% same on both sides? Insulte the existing walls and theres your room.

Red depending on if that area suits your needs or black if you need a bigger space. You can put mylar on the top angled ceiling and use that as your reflector lol. Red and black are the same but ones wider than the other.

got joists running at an angle so only 6ft height at peak
i have extended 1 side only just following struts (smaller joists)so its yellow on 1 side. lol

yellow looks the best option imo it makes the most of wot an attic offers

I'd say none, get the hell out of that attic while you still can unless you live in Alaska. I've been there done that... spent the money and just wasn't worth dealing with the temp problems or paying the electric bill for a AC. I did the same thing your doing and insulated the wall, bought a AC and it was still a pain to keep the temp down. Don't do it man, I was told not to when I first started and blew it off. Wish I would have listened...
