As the poster above said, keep to mid to late 60s if you can. Remember: higher temps simply mean that you need to deliver more agitation to your water. If this chiller doesn't work, replace it with another air pump! :)

Take better pictures of where the chiller is installed... and did you buy the thermostat that is required to operate it?

Good eve all. Installed these chillers and i am having a bit of trouble. Called up the company and the service rep told me i may have to plug it directly into the wall to achieve full performance. While the temps in my res have gone down, i expected much lower temps. The directions say it could take days to get to maximum coldness, but who the fuck knows. I did not buy the thermostat control, because i spent a hefty sum on both chillers. The service rep also stated he would over night two new ones and i would have to use a fucking cork and plastic bag to seal the hole, which sounds ridiculous, but then again, i know it would work. I am more worried about algae and shit growing with higher temps as oppose to more oxygen getting to the roots. We will have to see. Here's a bit of info and catching up.

Both tubs A and B are at 700-750ppm. I keep the pH between 5.5 and 5.0. The room temp is 73' F at 48% humidity. The temps of both tubs dropped to 73'F. I know. Not cool enough. Update to follow. Comments Please!!

Good day. Have an update. Keeping these ladies at 700-725ppm for both tanks. I keep the pH in both at 5.0-5.5. The Zero water pitcher i found is legit, however ii is just a temporary solution until i can get paid and purchase my R.O. machine. The water pitcher came with a decent TDS pen, and will prob still be used to top off the res.
I will soon have another 400W light, bringing the total to 800W, and a larger tent. That means that these pics will get a little more interesting and sticky! I think i am also going to try out this AN Iguana bloom. I hear that organic nutes, especially with warmer temps in the res, causes bad things. Maybe i will use a combo of the dry nutes from SH and the AN Iguana Bloom. Comments are welcome. Thanks for reading! I am going to get ripped. Peace.

Having cal mag issues. Don't know what th fuck. My ppm's are at 700-750, with a pH around 5.5-5.9. I am considering dropping 35 bones on an AN Revitalize nutrient suppliment. I really need some input here, so stop getting stoned for 5 min and please help, if you are able.

-Can I unplug my drip transforming my Bubbleponics into a DWC?
-can anyone recommend a good all in one A and B base nutrient program?

++rep!

Thanks guys!

Hey Kevin. My temps are down to 73'F, which isn't cool enough, but we will see. Still talking it out with the manufacturer.

Today I am preparing to flower. I originally posted about upgrading to a leaver tent, but instead I will be giving each tub(6 plants) thier own 32x24x64 tent, 400w aircooled light and ventilation. I will be using Dutch master Gold, Bud Candy from AN, Aquashield and Cal-Mag for flowering. Let's hope my temps are kosher for the next week or so til I can figure somethin out.

Will post pics later. Thanks for reading. Peace.

I prefer to leave my drip on the entire grow, but you can unplug it if you want. One thing I saw you post earlier: Please don't use AN's organic base nutes in DWC. I'm begging you, it's just a wholly bad idea. Their Sensi A+B 2 part flowering nutrient is world class, I use it myself. Cheap, effective, and easy to use... get it.

Hows the slime?

Sorry to hear about your temps... I find it very strange the probes are doing such a poor job of helping the temperatures. have you considered putting another couple stones in the buckets? This can not only help with the rot, but itll also encourage wonderful new root growth.
