bubbleponics 1st grow

hey everyone i have been setting up my 1st bubbleponics grow. I am using 1 400 watt hps, good ventilation, and i have the net pots, rockwool and hydroton, and not to mention the air pumps and air stones. and its all set up in a super stealth homemade box ill have pics sooon so any tips would be appreceated.

You and I should talk...I started my first bubble endeavor about week ago. Get good bubbles to each pot..can require creative placement of airstones and 2 of the 10-12inch stones per 5gal res (for me, my res's are large rectangle rubbermades approx 8 inches deep, veg res).

also..water level if you're placing sprouts in it....wanna keep that rockwool moist but not soaking..place yours lower in the netpots than i did mine...like maybe a inch below rim...bring water level almost up to bottom of rockwool..spashing bubbles should moisten it from there. ..i'm finding these things out as I go along....

can i convince to finish your spectrum of light with one or 2 fluorescent tubes? honestly you can buy the fixture for 10-15 bucks and the bulb for 5-10 and it wont make you have lanky plants from just the hps, another recommendation for this setup would be a small submersible pump for the reservoir to keep things all mixxed up. this is kinda the set up i want to do, and i have done mind blowing amounts of research, they are my suggestions take them if you will it will only be 40 bucks tops more and you will have some really happy ladys

so how affective is an hps at the begining of growth because one of my sprouts is looking dry and they dont seem to be growing as fast as they should.?
