Bubble bags

I am ready to buy some bags, probably on eBay. I'll be getting a 5-gallon set. Has anyone used both 5 and 8 bag sets, and is the difference worth it? I see now they also have 3 bag sets.
If I am going to pay 80ish for them, I'll probably go for the Sprung bags. But there are sets on eBay for under 50 now. Anybody bought any recently?

buy the 3 bag set if you can, the 5 and 8 bag sets are not worth using unless you have over 1kg of trim, you end up with a little bit of each grade and then one or two big lumps at the end, i use the 25mu and the 73mu bags and depending on how much trim i have usually just mix them and then press.

i have the bubble bag 3 bag set, my last run used 6 oz, from that i got 14g of quality hash, not much really, but the quality is superb.

All bags are definately NOT created equal.

Bought 2 sets off Ebay.
First was a 5 bag set 400 micron to 70 something.
Second was the 3 bag set 200 - 25 micron.
I did that for the 25 micron and some back-up bags.

First run out the gate was with the 5 bag set. Got very little anything from them and I was really surprised because the buds were really sugary.

Figured what the hell, and ran them through the 3 bag set. I got a lot lot more from it even if you didn't count the 25 micron. (surpised the tar out of me!)

I took the 400 and added it to the 3 bag and the other 4 bags are going For Sale later. I really like the 400 for getting things down to working size sooner (easier drain / flush. But a piece of window screening would of been just as good (cheaper). I really like these 3 baggers a lot. Seem better made than the 5 bag I got too.

On the 8 , 9 bag sets? I just don't understand why someone would need / want to grade into that many variations.
Also, (major hint) if you grow a sativa, or sativa dominant strains you'll be wanting (or wish you had) a 25-ish micron because the trich heads are that much smaller and easily missed by larger mesh. Last 3 runs with the 25 were very close to full melt and almost as good as the oil from the shake.

This is all from a small grower's perspective. I grow for my own medical use and don't sell commercially at all. (not worth it to me to take the chance and loose my card status). Good luck.
