Anyone have any tipsfor growing/training/ttechniques/experience, with Medicanns, Bubba Kush Fem seeds? I've got a northern lights by big bud on the side of the bubba kush, and its twice the size. I've never seen a plant lag this far behind. They were both germed at the same time. The nl x bb has its first 5 blade sets, and the bubba is only on its 3
blade sets.

medicanns bubba was one of the slower ones i had.. FUCKING FLAVOR FILLED though.... theirs was like mixed grape bubblegum.. flavors.. it was super good.. and i ended up throwing all mine outdoors to flower last summer because of the same issue they were so slow in veg i couldn't keep them as moms not my cup of tea (grow wise)

green house had a much faster veg but not super flavorful.... obviously that could have been the phenos i got though i never went back to them to try restarting them again.. i got bubble gum burned out.. trying to get a perfect bubba or bubblegum strain.

I have pre 98 bubba and kobain Kush. They do grow slower than my sativas. But the bubbas produce bigger and tastier buds. After a few toppings they start to take off. Especially once in their final pot.

a few things to speed up growth. Brew a tea with alfalfa meal and kelp meal. Add aloe right before using. Water and spray with that. The triactonal in alfalfa and the salicylic acids, enzymes and amino acids in aloe are like turbo buttons foe veg growth. Also seed sprout enzyme teas with corn seed or barley seed or alfalfa seed will speed up growth as well among other things. The corn seed imo raises the brix levels the most bringing out better more pungent flavors. A higher terpene profile.

Blue Tara from Bodhi, while not being a pure bubba had some nice bubba tones in the flavour and the added snow lotus gets her to stretch quite a bit in flower. I flowered a 10-12 inch plant that ended up 3 feet with solid yield of rock hard nugs.

But again not a pure bubba. http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Blue_Tara/Bodhi_Seeds/

Find the right pheno, I'm sure it's in there.

Thanks Phil! I ran some sativa phenos of an f-1 white rhino copy. I was like, ok shes just having a little trouble establishing roots. I can see roots, and she looks healthy. Just half the size of her neighbor a NLxBB. Also, I have 2 Afghani freebies from Herbies. Can I expect the same from them too, being another heavy Indica? Ive only grown 1 90%, Indica dom strain so far, and it was more like a Sativa I found. Citral.
All the other runs I've run have been 70/30 or 60/40 hybrids.
Looove the indicas though. This is a new experience for me.
Should I even top it? Would it respond well to super cropping?
I have one 5 gallon smart pot. The rest are 2 gall pots. (Small room). Which one y'all think should get the 5 gallon smart pot? The Bubba, the NLxBB, or an Afghani? Thanks for replies yall!!!!

i like the looks to that more than most the bubbas i have seen..i know its not a true bubba ... but is the flavor good on it? TH seeds bubble gum has excellent flavor and excellent production but the buzz wasn't really up there .. every things fucking give or take..

was that citral the one from soma? A lot of hid strains have some afghan Hawaiian as one of the parents. They all take longer to finish

smart pots are good when new. After a few rounds they're worthless. Too permeable. Dry out fast and inconsistently. Blumats are a must with fabric pots. I run 10 gal plastic pots and grow bags.

Flavour was like a mellow bubba, with some berry undertones which were very subtle.

It was a nice all around smoke, it didn't have that narcotic stoney ass stone that most indica doms are known for, maybe if I let it go another few days.

Some folks over on breedbay were calling the bluetara super strong weed and a good painkiller.

That was 1 seed from the pack, I still have a bunch I need to see what else is in there.

i always had good production from afghan or afghan crosses.. one of the best strain i ever grew quality wise was landrace afghan from world of seeds that shit was funk.. dense rock hard nugs.. i have a shit load of those free seeds from herbs too he's been giving them out for months now!! LOL.. i never started any of them but id like to know how they are.

i topped the medicine bubba.. but i always top.. i pinch the heads off the top stalk to get the bottoms to shoot up..
my pheno purpled like crazy end flower but it was so fucking fruity you'll like it if they are good phenos.. but like you said its just a slow grower.. i think i popped 10 if i remember .. all were slow growers..
if you like his genetics get BLUE BLOOD... fucking amazing producer super flavorful dank buds..

Seems to be a very snow lotus type thing, my Love Triangle turned out very similar structurally. They end up being absolutely gorgeous nugs.

They'd sell themselves if you're in that game :) Some people smoke with their eyes, it's like foods :)

One thing I will say about the snow lotus x's I've grown is they all seem muted, while all being decent smoke I haven't found that really loud stanky dank, it all seems to be real mellow smelling the love triangle has a very generic weed smell, I was expecting more from a triangle x. But I only grow a couple seeds at a time, I got lots left of these snow lotus x's to get to maybe I've just been unlucky.

LOLOL i know... i know people that won't even crack a jar if the nugs aren't catching their eye.. i also know people that will only fucking buy buds based on scent.
but yeah the structure.. nice coloring with deep hairs.. the little pokey buds on the buds absolutely sell it.. shit you sold me i like it..

the worst is finding the flavorful phenos... in some cases its a fucking battle..ive gotten to the point where if i start 15+ seeds and don't get the phono I'm looking for i don't go back...i know in some cases thats stupid cause theres a lot of phenos in some strains but it gets to be a butt pain when you don't get the exact mix your expecting or have heard is there.
