Broke Seedling Will it Survive

started four new Bonus seeds earlier then I started my crop (hoping for a headstash during the process) Well while i was removing the "rapidRoot" cubes from the trays I accidently pinched 2 of the four baby stems. One much worse then the other.. The bad one is barely hanging on by threads and the better looks crushed and slightly twisted.. After doing some quick panic reading i found somewhere that i can tightly wrap toilet paper around them .. mist the paper and when i tdrys it hardens and will act like a cast .. So far day 1 no loss of green on first leaves the toilet paper hardend and seems to be offering some support.
How should i go about watering them? keep moist or let soil dry completely for a day or two? Ive heard a few different suggestions so far but just joined this site figured I'd ask here. Also, do i dare try to clone it above the wound for a quick fix? ANY INSIGHT is appreciated..
Thanks
P.s. I dont recommend over medicating while handling newborns

Cannabis is an amazingly reilient plant. I cannot say for sure they will live but it sems like you are doing what you can for them.

I had a mouse in my grow room....little bastard chomped a few of my seedlings in half.....what I did was apply some root hormones stick in a starter container with soil and put under the dome (for hydroponics just stick in medium of your choice).....I treated them like clones.....a couple weeks later they all rooted.....they were behind all the other seedlings but they survived.....normally I would just let them die but since theses particular seedlings were the only ones of a strain I could not loose them......

If they are rooted , you could put them into small pots and bury the damaged part of the stem enough to stabilise , good luck umbre..

Day2 seems all is well.. so far established a splint on the two injuried to hold upright combined with the toilet paper cast i mentioned earlier.. they seem to still have life. signs of a very small second set of leaves is emerging on all four seedlings the two injured seedlings second set is smaller then the others but still new growth since the accident i have high hopes they will survive

I just snapped my 1.5" seedling by just blowing on it to hard. It was connected barley by the outer membrane, so I took half piece of Rockwool cube, moistened it with PH'ed water with "Rapidstart" (General Hydroponics), and tore it to center so I could slip it around the baby to support it. It is now standing up right with a humidity dome over it in a DWC system with powerful airpump and 5" disk bubbling away. This has created RH of 82% and temps are 82F as well. I will keep you all updated on if she lives or not, as well as pics once I get around to it, busy day tomorrow. I have faith in her. Skunk #1 by the way!!!

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with my seedling. I Kept it next to a cfl tubelight like almost a foot below it is it because of roo much light? please tell me I need help.
Holy stretch Batman.

You want cfls to be as close as possible without touching or burning so around 3-5" away. Transplant into a different container and bury the long stem so that the dirt comes up 2" away from the leaves and lower your light. Hopefully she makes it through.

^this, and it looks like the container you have it in has no drainage, make sure whatever you put it in has plenty of holes in the bottom, and the mix you use has plenty of perlite or coarse sand.

I know this is an old thread but figured I would see if anybody else had this problem and if it was fixable. My son watched me transfer my autos to my flowering tent and while I was switching out he pinched my grand mommy purple seedling by the top. In two pieces . It rooted. The Question is will the roots and stems form new leaves or will the leaves form new roots with cloned and seed starter. If it was half way I’d say there was hope but I don’t think this one is gonna make it

sorry mate, you're fucked there, no fixing that, it's way too small to survive that kind of trauma.
