Bringing GUN out your guerrilla grow?

Hey guys and gals of rollitup!

PLEASE READ before hastily making a post and thus making a mockery of yourself!

So i had an idea for an excellent alibi for my excursions out to my grow patch. The location it is in is a place that sees HEAVY hunter traffic both deer and grouse. What if I was to bring my ol' 12 gauge out on my trips to my spot. That way if I encountered anyone I would just be "Out lookin' fer some thunder-chickens!" .

What do you guys think of this idea?

The only problem I can see is I'M TENDING A MARIJUANA PATCH AND I HAVE A FRICKIN' GUN ON ME...

One of the potential problems with this scenario is that deer, rabbit, grouse, turkey etc. are hunted during specific seasons and are administered by state hunting laws. If you are toting around a 12 guage in the middle of the summer while watering your thirsty patch a game warden would likely be very curious as to what you are hunting for. Most game are out of season during this critical vegetative stage. Other alibis such as fishing, birdwatching, hiking and mountain biking are much more benign and can be done any time. I chose indica dominant strains that will finish earlier, potentially before the busy fall hunting season is in full swing. Either way I would be compliant with state hunting/fishing license(s). Something else to take in to account, a large percentage of LEO's hunt for recreation and are fully capable of spotting guerilla grows. If heavy foot traffic is a concern in your area...rethink your patch's location.
