Breeding for my own seeds question

So about 2 grow seasons ago i had an accidental pollination on about 2 of my plants, i was mad at first but then i realized i was going to need those seeds for future crops anyway.
However after this year im pretty low down to about 50+ seeds and im trying to breed selectively.
I have already chosen a male for pollen, i grow all outdoor all in the ground, so i had to dig him up and throw him in a pot to get him away from my girls asap, did that about 3 days ago and hes lookin healthy as ever still.
my concern/question is about the female i have chosen, should i keep her in the ground by the rest of my girls
and put the pollen on her, or should i also dig her up and pot her to bring inside to lower my chances of pollinated other plants.? opinions would be great.
- doing a indica male and a sativa female, not that that matters just sayin lol. for now i have the male in a big window sill, hes about 4 ft . started flower about a week ago.
thanks for reading

Let the male make pollen indoors collect it and carefully with no wind use a small paint brush to brush pollen on your desired female.

I think he was saying to leave it where it is, wind comment and all ;-)

But... I would have to disagree... I'm no breeder, and I rarely deal with seeds, let alone try to create them, but I would still be concerned about bees, and other bugs/birds, etc... carrying pollen to the other females. Dont think I'd bother bringing her in, but find a spot a good deal away to do it, then just put both in that spot.

leave the female where she is. You got awfully lucky digging that male out of the ground with out killing it. Don't chance it with your female. Put the male indoors and collect it's pollen , Paint some branches with it on your female. To be safe wet the other females down before pollinating. An hour later wet them again and rinse down your pollinated female. Your biggest chance of contamination with the male indoors is your own cloths or and open window. You can also put the pollen in a paper bag and tie or zip ty the end around a branch cover that with a plastic bag and shake it. Then wet everybody down and take the bag off.

I've dug up plants on many occasions mostly just to re-locate and never killed one so i don't feel very lucky. I dont see why not as long as you get enough of the dirt under the plant with a big enough pot you should be fine.
But thank you that is what i'll be doing.

just use a paint brush like TWS said and with pollen from the male, lightly brush on a lower branch bud or buds and you will get PLENTY!! of seeds as long as you do it on a few lower buds you will not seed any of your girls up.
