Breeders Retail

I wanted to get some chimera seeds for my collection so I researched a bit and found that breeders retail is the only place that sells them. They used to have a forum section at another forum but it has since been archived and the way to reach them is [email protected] and request a seed list similar to doing business with ak bean brains. So I requested 4 packs of seeds and sent funds via their requested Bitcoin method on October 9th. Come October 29th and I received an email from them asking if I had received my seeds yet and I informed them that I have not received anything. No package or customs letter. So Karl told me he would send out a replacement order right away. Seemed like good proactive customer service. It's now November 21st and still no package or customs letter and now Karl is also not responding to emails and my requests for tracking info. I have also received seeds from delicious seeds in Spain that were shipped weeks after these were supposedly sent. Seems unlikely 2 packages would just go missing and not get customs seizure letters either. So far it seems I may have just gotten scammed. I'll update here if anything actually comes through or Karl starts responding to me again. But for now I would recommend not doing business with breeders retail. Just seemed odd. If they're gonna rip me off then why bother following up with me before.

Figured I'd update. December now and still no seeds or reply. Even tried sending messages from another email and got nothing back. So at this point it seems either something has happened to Karl, he's out on some extended leave, or he just scammed and took my money. Luckily it was only about $130. Avoid breeders retail.

Yeah, I agree. I only went for it cause they were a long time member on icmag a bit ago and I thought they had a good reputation but they've stopped posting there I think.

Don't really know the drama, but from what I understand there was a major rift there earlier this year. Many left, many were tossed. Not sure what's what there anymore.

Well after 3 months of hearing nothing from them I started getting responses from both their email and Instagram accounts when I saw their Instagram account started posting and advertising their email address again for sales. They are saying that due to two deaths in their organization/family they were locked out of email and missed my emails and they do not understand why their second ship did not go through and are saying they will reship again from another location. Still just seems really odd that two times and nothing in the mail, not even a customs letter. I'll update if I actually get some seeds this time.
