I need some reassurance here, I've got a 3 plants that are getting with in 3 weeks or so to harvest. I have put 3 unsexed Blue Pits in there as of now. I am starting to get paranoid that some how these BP's are going to be male shoot some pollen at get some of bitches pregnant. I have been checking them with a magnifying glass all at the nodes looking for some indication that there is pistils or balls. Am I fucking up trying to sex these plants in my flower room with alot of bud all around them? I felt like I should be able to determine the sex before any pollen was released, but I'm getting a little anxious now. Give me some reassurance please, or tell me I am taking a huge risk and shouldn't risk the other plants.
Thanks ahead of time. green

IF you are checking daily then you will be more than okay Green. By the tie a pollen sac grows to the time it releases pollen is a reasonable amount (i.e a lot more than just 1 or even 2 days). Don't worry.
Peace, DST

yea, now that I have a true male flowering, it brought my paranoia down so much. the male flowers really do take a long while to open, especially those first ones. To be fair though hes under a covered porch so not getting the best sun.

I didn't end up putting the seeds I planted under the HID yet.. I have a few fungus gnats floating around with those skunk diesel cross plants I have going in veg in there and don't want to pass them onto these guys until they are at least established. Those skunks don't go to flower for another week so I'll get the BB gear in there when that happens so they don't catch the clap..

For now I stuck them under one of my Kessil H350 deep purple lights instead...They are about 8 inches away forom the cups...

The first dog kush is just peeking its head out of the soil this evening... :) That was a quick one.

I would assume a couple more will be up tomorrow...

I know you guys probably aren't as interested kuz it isn't BB gear and its pretty off topic but here is an update on those Mass Super Skunk x ECSD plants I have going...

The fan leaves on them are absolutely enormous. There is one in particular that is a beast but it is a droopy as fucker. I'm not a fan of droopy plants...

Thats awesome dude. ECSD is some tasty stuff. It takes its sweet as time and stretches like crazy tho.

These things you wouldn't even know ECSD was in their genes by looking at them except maybe the shade of green they are. Structurally they look like indicas at the moment. I can't see them changing that pattern either...

East coast sour diesel... It's the real sour deisel. The original one. From JJ from Topdawg out of nyc..

• 'Sour Diesel' aka ECSD came from an accidental cross of ('91 Chemdawg x DNL after the DNL hermed and seeded the room. The DNL's lineage is Hawaiian/RFK Skunk X NL.) or 91 Chemdawg X Mass Super Skunk
• Underdawg came from a cross of '91 Chemdawg x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi's Northern Lights) done by a guy known as ‘weasel’.[quote/]

Got one confirmed BP female going in my flower room now, just dropped 5 fireballs. Debating on whether I'm going to snatch a clone off that blue pit female, I should I'm going to be kicking myself in the ass when I start trying to reveg it. I just hate sacrificing a potentially nice Cola, but I'm sure I'm going to take one in the next day or two.

Super crop it and see if you can get a branch long enough to take a cutting off.
