so guys, the little dicky bird has been in my shell like again...

Good news and bad. BB's prices are going up end of the month though only slightly.

The good news is the Fireballs will be released then and there'll be some limited freebies of the Blue Pit BX1. going out with orders.
Got any info/pics etc on the BPBX1? any grows of it been done yet etc?

You know they smell sweet but you stick your nose in one and a nice sweet slight spice smell, it's really unique to what I have grown out, smell wise so far. The dogs in the tent just overpower the smell either way... The QQ I am running is really a sweet tasty smell though

Real excited for fireballs to drop, I'm gonna order as soon as they are available and I been trying to get blue pit for so long now, very excited

Hey don I'm not sure if it was you on here, but I remember reading from on of the BB guys that they dry their harvest in the tent just above the lights? Since I added a veg room, my drying area is non existent, does the light effect results etc? Seems to be a good idea as humidity and temps are usually stable in my flower tent, plus that's where the carbon filter is... Thanks for the help

Sounds like a 50/50 from the f1, awesome. the FB mother was super spicy like gingerbread. it's hard to tell with your lighting, do they have purple tinge to them? man I'd like to taste them haha

Yeah I do dry like that, a lot of people say light is bad for drying in but to be honest it doesn;t make that much difference IMO the more important factor is humidity and the speed at which the buds dry. I let my plants dry in the pots a couple of days before chop, then hang for 2-3 days then move them out into a cardboard box while they are still spongy, they don't dry that quickly in ambient room temp after that.

Be careful not to let them crisp in the tent or they'll never lose the cut grass smell.

Once you said gingerbread I knew exactly what you mean, yes it has that smell definitely when you take a rub from the stem. very slight purple on the outer leaves near where the buds are forming, where the first trichs started really frosting, lowest temp at night is around 68F. so that may bring it out a bit more later

If anything the light the bud receives hanging above the setup has to be very minimal, I agree humidity and speed are what counts.

What do you expect around 9 weeks for the sc x FB?

yup that sounds like a good split of the two parents. can't wait to see it finish up. should be a corker.

yeah I'd say about 9 weeks though there's a chance of earlier. the smelly cherry male has had some offspring that have finished ridiculously fast, 45 days the fastest. I was digging through the stash this morning and found a pack of the very first thing I bred, fast finish cherry cheese livers x black rose pheno of the same. might pop a few soon.
