Everywhere I turn you see breast cancer, its in your face just like titties should be but I am going to be honest here and say I am about over it. I will always support it but I am tired of it on my TV, everywhere you turn there is a shirt, a ribbon, commercial, flyer, run etc..... just saying getting old for me.

You dont see commercials, marathons, etc about save the balls or the a-hole. I know not as pretty but as important.. Just my morning stoner rant

Commercialism they use boobs to sell products. Why do you think the NFL and every major brand has pink. It sells tickets and products.

It's a shill very little of that money goes to "breast" cancer research.

Yeah they try shoving that shit down your throat don't they? Charities are like the government and the church, its a big fuckin money scam that makes you feel proud for paying into it. You want to stop cancer? Stop cigarettes. Blow up a few Marlboro buildings and fields and you will be making more of a difference than buying a pink ribbon ever did.

I have to disagree with this one I am currently fighting breast cancer, the drug I take is harsh with many horrible side effects, I have been through the mill the last three years including chemo and radiotherapy. I didn't smoke ate healthy, and took exercise but I still got it! my own hormones were feeding my cancer not cigarettes. Its the luck of the draw it doesn't matter how you live if your going to get it you will get.

Granny - I hope you have a speedy recovery and I hope my post did not offend you. It was half hearted joking. I have on several occasions given for the cause and I strongly believe in it. I was high and everywhere I turned it was somewhere and I just got to laughing to myself about not seeing support for some of the others but believe me, I believe in saving boobies and people! :)

Sending super positive vibes your way Granny, we are currently going through the treatments, my wife was diagnosed back in May, thank god chemo is over, we're about 1/3 of the way through radiation...it's a long tough battle and with love we send our support. Before May, I'll admit to my ignorance to the disease and its treatments....for those of you making the harsher comments, I honestly hope that you never learn, at least first hand, the things I know now, however, if you did, you would understand the urgency behind the pink and would perhaps be a little more tolerant. Peace and good health to you all:leaf:

I'm sorry to hear that your wife is going through this terrible time, and I know it takes it toll on you also. Chemo is the worst thing I have ever been through I struggled through every session, the drug I take now is harsh and I will never be the person I was before my diagnosis, it changed me in so many ways. I pray that your wife will be well again, tell her to stay strong and keep fighting it will all come right in the end I send my love and prayers to you both, and if she ever wants a chat or a moan I'm here for her take care both xx

Very sorry to hear your situations and I am sorry for offending you. I just have strong feelings against for profit charities and the cigarette retailer and acted like an ass. I wish you the best of luck in your fight.
