I must commend this strain, Bubble Bomb, as an all around great plant. I got several different strains from different breeders and that was the best one of the bunch. Very vigorous growth, like an F1, right from germination. Fairly uniform. Of four seeds grown three were nice and short and only one was quite stretchy. They all had very solid, stocky bud structure, no long fluffy, leafy air-bud phenos here or foxtailing. Exactly the type of buds I like actually. Very easy to clean due to high calyx/leaf ratio. You can even use the tip buds of most of the lower branches. Good resin production. Also has very strong root growth. They root as cuttings very well.
What really sets Bubble Bomb apart, though, is the potency and quality of high. It was the most potent and the best feeling high of all strains tried. I had some Blue Pyramid, NLxBB, Orange Hill Special and Sugar Candy. None of them anything particularly special. The Sugar Candy was the best of those but I still think the Bubble Bomb is better and the buds are a more solid and stocky type, though Sugar Candy is good too if you like a more Sativa leaning plant and high. Tends to be pretty lanky for my liking.
The bubble gum aroma and flavor is very light in Bubble Bomb. It's your basic sweet Indica, starts out sweet then gets more acrid as it matures. There's a lot of them around like that, very similar sweet smell in early flower. If you break a dry bud open it does smell sweet and sort of gummy, but a bag of buds just smells like typical Indica, though less rank than say pure Afghani. The flavor is nice though, not like gum but sort of like pipe tobacco smells. It does tend to be a little harsh, as most Indicas can be (like Afghani hash), but nothing intolerable.
To conclude, Bubblebomb by Bomb Seeds is one of the good ones out there for a strong Indica with a very pleasant type of high. Pick out the shortest pheno and you're good.
