Any guesses on how much money this golf game is going to cost the American tax payers? Not that congress matters any more, Obama has shown the stupid bastards that they are not in control. He is

Where are all the people who raised hell about Bush going to war?

It isn't fair to expect anyone, including the president, to work non stop. It isn't healthy, either. Presidents often don't get much sleep and are on call 24/7/365. I would rather have a sane president who takes a couple days off here and there than to have an insomniac go ape shit in the white house.

I agree with sync completely. It is clear that Obama has had an incredibly stressful presidency so far trying to repair us from the previous 2 terms

I suppose when Obama ran for president he never thought that the job would require a lot of effort or time. I suppose most presidents just think they will be whisked away by Air Force one or Marine one to state dinners, golf courses and camp David. I suppose they never thought that the job might require effort and would be stressful at times. And since our country would be 100% on top of the world with no deficit, no war, no taxes, no problems of any kind if only that bastard Bush wouldn't have been in office creating ALL of these problems. Blame it ALL on Republicans I say, Democrats are all poor and never do anything wrong!!!!

Agreed sometimes people go too far in their expectations of wanting the President and government to micromanage their lives 24/7 for them. Maybe the thing to do is have these people take charge and run their own lives in order to give the President and Congress a break.
Some people say they want smaller government then talk sh*t on Obama for relaxing and NOT governing.

Wait a minute.....you're comparing the cost of a game of GOLF to the war?
to be fair some people think the cost of a golf game is more important than the lives of our military personnel. If they cared they wouldn't force our military personnel to risk their lives, in a conflict, that has nothing to do with protecting our borders, would they?

They are being kept in an undisclosed location along with Cindy Sheehan. We'll be hearing from their indignant asses again just as soon as Obama is evicted.

As far as the golf is concerned, I am sure it was an horrendously expensive golf outing.

But that is not really my main concern.

It is who was playing: The President, the Veep, and Number Three in the line of succession; meandering all over a golf course, which tend to be expansive.

I am sure all the necessary precautions were taken. But something could have gone wrong.

Terribly wrong.

And for what? Golf.

Not the State of the Union Address.

Golf.

Don't misunderstand, the golf is not the issue.

I didn't care when Dubya played golf.

I didn't care when Dubya stopped playing golf.

So I have no problem with Obama playing golf. That's what powerful men do.

I simply think it was an unnecessary risk having all three of them together out in the open.
