Another quick update guys. Things in the tent are coming together!

I got the first of 3 flood and drain stands up and ready to go. Just need to add some pvc glue to seal the connections and make the extra sturdy. I also went ahead and tested one of the 600w lights over the top of it to see the light coverage. Looks perfect to me.


I will put up a tutorial with exact measurements and parts list of how to construct these tables if anyone is interested. Pretty easy and cheap. I got everything from lowes as well, so that's convenient.

It does look like I made the stand too tall for my tent, so I will have to cut down on the height. I am going to wait to pick out my tub for the res first before I cut back on the height.

Anyways, I will update more as this thing comes together and is ready for the first round of flowering.

Hey guys!

Just wanted to put up a quick update.

I finished making my DIY bubble cloner and Ive decided to go ahead and clone earlier than anticipated.

None of the materials I'm waiting for have arrived today, but I figure the clones will need a couple weeks of veg anyways.

Im going to be cloning the blue dream first. Just a personal favorite of mine to smoke so Im anxious to see how this HSO version compares.

I will post up some pics and or a video once I've taken all the clones.

I'm growing that Blue Dream right now. Gonna be flipping in the next week and a half. Check it out should give you idea on how she grows.

WOW! She looks beautiful! Your gonna have one hell of a harvest with all of those tops. Hope you have your trimmers ready

I cant wait to she how she turns out for the both of us.

Im gonna let the clones go for about a two to three week veg and then flip them straight into flower under a 600w hps.

Ill be watching your blue dream lady flower, good vibes to you.

Im planning to follow the K.I.S.S. method and go with Maxibloom as a base, and AN's big bud and Humbolt's Ultra Snow Storm as additives.

Sorry guys, but i was recording the video update and realized my phone was running out of memory space.

I'm dying to see how she turns out too!!! I think we both will be very surprised in how she does. Looks like your gonna be doing some perpetual things. Can't wait to see when you have everything going.

I'm using CYCO nutes and I have to say they are really good. I've seen some nice grows done with it and that's what made me try it. There a special product in the line called XL and it's super phosphoric acid bring pH down to 3 but up pH+ it till you get to about a pH of 4.5-5. It's makes the plant grow and stretch like crazy. Never to be used before week 3 of veg as it's designed to burn root hairs and make them grow more. That's why you need a plant that has it's roots established before using it. Great stuff. Never seen anyone use that combo of nutes but I'm sure it will do just fine

There's also a thread of a guy who used the K.I.S.S. method compared to Advanced Nutrients full line and H&G full line of nutrients and he ended up with the best results coming from just the Maxibloom as the base.

Ill try to find that link again and post it for ya. It's amazing how much this one nutrient can do for you in flower. But then again, it could all be hype. So ill have to find out for myself

I checked out that KISS method and its just like Lucas pretty much. People using it is basically using a one part nutrient through veg and flower. They say it has enough N and cal/mag in it so it should work pretty good. Now I didn't see anyone on the thread saying they used it through veg and flower but I know if it doesn't have enough N in it in veg then it has to be upped with more N. What most people fail to realize is that Cannabis is a very very strong plant that can survive a lot and even if someone is using just a bloom base all the way through the grow the plant can still produce something worth while but most people don't believe that using a high N base all the way through grow will keep the leaves green which in turn will grow buds. If the leaves suffer the buds suffer so the main thing is to keep the leaves green. Peace

Yeah i hear you on that. I dont plan to use it in veg at all though. Doesnt have the right numbers in my opinion. Ill be using floranova grow and micro in veg. But yeah, it's suppose to be able to replace the lucas formula. Guess I will find out for myself come harvest time

They are rooting very slowly this time around. I usually have roots by now, but I can only see small roots poking out on a couple of them.

Im not sure the container I chose to use this time around is the best. I also tried to use a new air pump and different type of airstones this time. Im not impressed so far, so I may end up building a new one with the supplies I'm used to making it with. I'm gonna let these girls finish cloning and get into the table before I build the new one.

Ill update more as they start to produce more roots.

Damn that sucks bro. Sometimes we have to stick with the motto of "if it ain't broke don't fix it". But it's always good to try different things out to see if things will work better. That's what makes this so interesting as there's no certain way to do things. Trial and error will only make us better

Yeah im giving myself a big facepalm for throwing away my last DIY bubblecloner. I would always see roots in about 3-4 days with any strain. And only lost 1 clone out of several rounds.

Oh well, live and learn I guess. Im just anxious to start flowering on the tables lol

It's all good cus you still know how to make the one you threw away so that's all that matters. Your gonna have to send me instructions on how to make that cus roots in 4 days is impressive.

Lots of bubbles is the key I believe. This one doesn't seem to be producing the same amount. Let me clarify that in that amount of time i would see the very beginning of the roots. Nothing major lol that would be crazy in my eyes, to have full roots in 4 days.

Quick update!

I just counted about 6 of the 12 clones that have small roots beginning to pop out and grow. Hopefully the other 6 are not far behind.

I will update with some pics after they get some actual growth.

On a side note, I got a notice today that my other materials are waiting for me at the post office. I will probably go pick it up tomorrow.

Next step after that is to finalize setting up the tent and get the rest of my flood and drain system up and make a couple test runs.

Another quick update, no pics yet though.

Just picked up my stuff from the post office.

I got most of what I need now. Im just waiting on one last package that has my PH/Temp meter in it and my inline fan for the bottom of the tent to let in fresh air.

Once I get the rest of the stuff, I will finish assembling the rest of the tent and the flood and drain table to get a test run in.

Ill update with some pics and video once it's all done.

Cant wait to get these little girls flowering! It's all a process though

Sounds like your almost there bro. Sucks having to wait for different parts from different suppliers but long as you got what you need that's all that matters. I'm getting excited for you bro. Cant wait till you get everything setup. You think your clones will be ready by time everything arrives?

oh yeah, they have some time. Gonna let them veg alittle bit in the cloner. probably around 2 more weeks from today before they go into the flower system
