Hey farmer! Tough news on the males.
Don't start the late strain.
Get something 8 weeks.
No need to start off a hike with a nail in your foot..
better yet get feminized seeds so your time line not all fucked.
I love regular seeds if you have the time and seed power to do so.
Remember if your say allowed 10 plants you want to germinate 5 -10 times that number especially with regular seeds to account for any males or runts.
Even feminized seeds as you want to account for runts.
Take the best of the best and your off and running.
You probably already know this haha.
I decided against growing satori right now. I've got about 35 strains in my collection, all reg seeds. 3-12 seeds of each strain. At least 20 of my strains are "Jordan of the Islands" blueberry crosses. So many options to choose from.
Picked up a small grow tent yesterday. Set it up today, it is going to be my new veg area. Tired of having only one space to grow on a single light cycle. Should have done this years ago.
Ideally I'd like to have 3 mother's, and rotate strains, harvesting a few clones every 4-5 weeks. Love having fresh buds. Today I will pick out a few strains with similar flowering periods. Going to base my pics on the method @cannadan posted.

Sweet looking forward to seeing the progression.
Usually I know the difference between Picking my ass and tearing it all apart and shy away from tearing it up but in this situation I think tearing it all apart is the way to go. Bigger is better lol.

Day 90 from seed, Day 17 12/12, Day 3 Flowering.

The female started to show flowers on Sunday. That was after 15 days of 12/12. So far out of all the strains I have tried, this strain has taken the longest to germinate, longest to show signs of sex and longest for a female to show flowers after 12/12 was initiated. I'm interested to see what she looks like in 6-7 weeks which is supposed to be the flowering time of Blueberry Cough.

Lights are still out, pics later this afternoon.

I have Raspberry Cough seeds by Nirvana. I have smoked the final product (BM), man is it good. Great medical strain. Who is the breeder of your seeds?

Been thinking of filling the table with 60 of them, maybe next round after this. 10 week strain so, that is why I have been hesitating. After the next run under my belt I may feel confident enough.

Jordan of the Islands, his site is currently down, Shopify is cracking down on cannabis seed banks in Canada. You can still email Jordan for seed orders though.

Found this about it...

Though not as well known as its rumored parents, Blueberry and Strawberry Cough, Blueberry Cough is nonetheless a pleasant choice for medical use. It isn't nearly as powerful as either of those two strains, with THC levels hovering around 15% in available tests. In some batches potency is much lower, so this isn't a great choice for couch-lock or mental obliteration. The genetics lean toward sativa, but Blueberry Cough got plenty of indica too: Blueberry is a near-pure indica while Strawberry Cough is a near-pure sativa. The taste is allegedly quite smooth, with a subtle aroma, but there are few reports regarding the taste or smell of this rather rare strain. The same goes for medical uses; as a sativa, it may be helpful with depression, mood disorders, and anxiety, but otherwise not much is known. The effects are probably sativa-heavy, but expect plenty of influence from the indica genes as well. That means a high that's likely split between both body and mind. Side effects aren't widely reported, but dry eyes and cottonmouth are likely. Like its parents, Blueberry Cough is probably found mostly on the West Coast, though it may also appear in Colorado, Michigan, and Canada. It's not unheard of on the black market, either.
Also looks like it is quick to flower 45-55 days.

The Moscow Blueberry I am about to harvest is 18% THC and up to 5% CBD. It has a great effect medicinally. I gave up on DWC and do Ebb&Flow now. So simple and quick, no root problems and big buds. The only thing I don't like is not being able to run different length strains on the same table.

Sounds delicious dude, that's why I picked this strain, quick and delicious, but I wasn't aware that the vegetation period would be this long. Probably better off growing it in a sea of green to get same yield with more plants and less veg time I guess.

I'm also skeptical on this seed selection but hey, worth a try. I just threw down 6x "males" and 6x "females" to see what shakes out. Once they pop will just flip them in a small tent straight to 12/12 to sex them out. If the numbers are even close to being correct I'll run a larger sample later.

What a pile of shit....pretty soon you'll have to know someone personally to get fucking seeds....friends, gather round...lol...
Jordan is already back up at a new web address, he posted this link for it on instagram canadasbestcannabis.com

Shopify targeted everyone selling seeds using their software including US companies apparently.

I have a few JotI strains 5 packs reg seeds. I picked 3 of them and examined the seeds. I found 1/5 seeds for each strain that met the criteria so I am germinating them, going to see what results I get.

What the hell. I just had a close look at the Triple Purple Rhino beans I've been sitting on, and chose a 'female'. I'm down for some 12/12 action.
