Blue cheese sativa?

I knew blue cheese was like 75 percent sativa but i never expeted what i got.

I only ordered the one fem blue cheese from big budda.
tell you what its the most sativa dom plant ive grown before. wouldnt have noticed at first but when i switched to flower. it grows a good inch per branch daily. its more than double the size of my indica dom plants (mainly chronic) and has a good 6-10 inch between nodes now. lots of bud spots but look slike it will be a poor yielder, hard to say because i havnt seen a sativa dom in flower before.

anyone ever grown the really sativa dom blue cheese? which parent would be the sativa dom? im not sure but it sure does smell fruity.

ill get some pics soon, might be a week though. would love to hear from some blue cheese growers.

The sativa parent would be the cheese. It's a pheno of skunk right? Got any pics? I'd love to see some. I have a single Barney's Farm BC but haven't grown it yet. I'm growing some other sativas right now think I'm gonna flip some today before they get too big.

yeah im worried because i have some exodus cheese going too. i have 3 of them that have had about 10 weeks veg and there very bush and sativa like. I wold say the blue cheese i have look more indica than those during veg, but shoot up so fast in flower, no place for sativas in my grow room.

these are supposidly exodus cheese, paid for clones they look like cheese but you never know what your getting nowerdays. have to wait and see.
all the blue cheese grows ive seen all look very indica or at least a good 50/50 but mine seems to be leaning more towards the cheese side then. tell you what they smell like there in full bloom allready and has the thickest stem by at least double the rest of the plants in growing.
I have high hopes. forgive the pun.

here are the 3 cheese... ill try get a photo of the blue cheese soon, my camera is with afriend at the moment.

Shortly after it was releases and so many people were saying so many good things about the strain I tried Big Buddha's Blue Cheese to see if it was at all like people were saying it was and while I do not know if what I got was as sativa dominant as what you got it did have more sativa straits to it than I had expected, but if you think that is something try growing a real true 100% sativa some time. They can make the growth rate of Blue Cheese seem about as fast as a turtle going uphill on a cold day.

If you want to look through the lineage of the strain and see if you can pick out where the sativa dominance of the phenotype you ended up came from here it is .. but good luck. There is a fair bit of sativa in the genetic chain that eventually made up Big Buddha Blue Cheese.

ok... i am confused. I thought Blue Cheese was a "mostly indica" strain? Barney's farm and Big Buddha both advertize their Blue Cheese strains as mostly indica. Am i reading something wrong?

It's just that different phenotypes will show up in strains, more so in some than in others. I'm sure many people here could say the same thing where they popped a pack of 5 seeds and ended up with a mix like two were short and bushy with wide paddle-like leaves and one was sort of mid-sized with slightly thinner leaves and two shot up like they were Jack's magic beans and were very tall and lanky with very thin leaves .. and they might have been advertised as being mostly indica or advertised as being mostly sativa ... but not all the plants fit the description of what to expect, or what the norm should be.

hi brick top, does the flowering times stay the same even tho there will be indica and sativa?
There will not be indica Blue Cheese and sativa Blue Cheese, they will still both be an indica/sativa cross but at times some will just show more traits of one or the others, there will be different phenotypes and that will more times than not make flowering times somewhat different, though not always. I have had crops where one or some plants were very different looking than others but they still finished at the same time and when smoked you could not tell a difference between the two, but that has not been the norm for strains I have grown.
