I know og. Those are not it. Not even close.
Not hating, good grow, looks like blimburn pulled a fast one on e genetic tip.

KGP is an OG aficionado.
Check out his threads, he grows lots of OG he knows what the deal is.
From what I have seen of OG's from his posts and others who grow the clonlies and from my experience with OG x's I would say it doesn't look very OG to me either.
HOWEVER you have beautiful plants, and you shouldn't take this as a bad word against you at all, you grew some beauties for sure, and I bet they smoke great certainly look yummy. But it's not showing OG characteristics.

Your missing my point.
Most buy a seed from a description. If I buy a Hindu kush seed and its a 14 week sativa, even though it's a good plant, should I just be happy because it looks good?
If I buy og, or if the breeder labels as og, shouldn't it be og? I think yes.
If you just want some seeds that make buds, and you'll be happy if they grow not caring about genetics, taste, smell, or high, than good for you.

It is funny because right when I saw the "og" plant start forming colas even my old lady said something about no golf ball style bug formation like other "og" cuts she has seen budding. I agree with getting genetics you expect due to the use of this as a medication for some serious issues. My comment was due to the fact that it's a free genetic of some kind, and it's not like I'm in Illinois still hiding 4 plants at a time with no room for experimentation or failure. I've got some bag seeds I can't wait to play around with. I won't be disappointed if I get a Bruce banner pheno, or maybe the gorilla glue bean came from a accidentally pollinated plant. Laws have allowed me to practice super cropping, topping, fimming, and just grow out a freebee to practice techniques without fearing losing all your medicine. No offense to anyone, just impressed with the trich production after I super cropped it to a point I would have never done. Now I'll break the fuck outa these babies. Happy growing everone. And many the meds produced will help with my many ailments, or supply me with hash making practice materials

How did that Blim Burn OG's Kush turnout? Germinating a freebie right now. Not many pictures online or growers freedback of their pheno. I would really appreciate your opinion.

Chronic as fuck bro. Ran a pack of 6 feminized, I Had a few phenotypes, mostly indicia dominant. Can't remember how long I flowered, think 9-10 week.
Yield was above average with hard dense flowers. all phenos were keepers for sure. Smell was very very kushy, Taste was more like sour diesel
. The high was defiantly stellar for I remember.

Is there a seed version of OG you'd recommend ? Few people are even aware og is Sativa dom cause of all these companies passing anything off as og kush.
Same with Bubba kush , Royal queen and GHS both list it as bubble gum and something else which is not Bubba. Same reason I avoid these companies.

i agree with you too about the og kush lineage. Every breeder and their mother has og kush, but like you said, it is really hard to find true og.
I recent started a run with an og kush. Its Florida og by DNA genetics. Its supposedly is a coveted confirmed clone only f1 og kush cut, the crippy cut. We'll see but from what research I could find out from research and the guys at DNA its promising....." fingers crossed".

No worries. Whenever....Bro. I have never had this much trouble germinating. 1st Blimburn OG i started never popped. Working on this 2nd bean and nothing yet. Started it in water then paper towel. Nothing so i did the same routine again. I had no troubles germinating Kings Kush,Cookies Kush, Lemon Skunk, Opium,Platinum Huckleberry Cookies. Just the freebee. SMH
There are TONS of OG fakes out there. I have been growing OG since dr Greenthumb came out with it about 15 years ago and I know OG. Have tried many but most just aren't really OG.
I was reading on another forum yesterday that someone had checked the genetic markers and that Tahoe OG is actually dr greenthumb's Ghost OG, though the Tahoe has herm problems and the Ghost does not. I'm glad people are starting to test the genetics so that seed sellers can't lie any more without the risk of being caught.
