Is anyone breeding autos here? This is my first grow with them. I may try to get a few seeds if all goes well.
Blimburn AK, slow upward growth? Or am I worrying for nothing?

No problem dude, and thanks for the nice reply. Guess you are right about having to have a thick skin on the forums......it wasn't always like that. Heck, I remember when the internet was a laid back place, now it's like a shark tank. I have enough stress and issues in life, I come here to relax, learn, and help where I can. Guess I'm getting too old, the neighborhood has gotten rough and I'm just not cut out for it. I'll just lurk from now on. I don't want to get into a confrontational situation because I have a different opinion or give some different advice than someone else. like i said though, if your a noob yields are going to be crappy nyways and autos are a long way ahead of where they were 10 or 15 years ago.
the way inheritance works it would really only take 1 or 2 back crosses to bring the potency up to about equal with photo strains. I smoke autos almost exclusively and im not just saying so when I say they get me just as high as any photo ive ever tried, if you want a more intense high just take shrooms
No offense taken, and thanks for apologizing. I apologize for being too uptight, guess my blood pressure meds aren't working like they should. Just a bit nostalgic for when the world was a nicer place, and people could disagree without calling each other names.....times change. Heck, I used to love to enjoy relaxing by playing online computer games. It was a fun place, got to meet people from all over the world. Now it's just a troll fest, with everyone getting their kicks by pissing others off. I don't understand it, it's not for me anymore either. I just want a place to chill....not fight all the time.
Oh, and btw....I have been growing for years, but auto's are new to me, and I really couldn't see any advantages, only disadvantages. But you guys have taught me they do have a place and they have come a long way. Back in the day we always looked down on them because they were crossed with ruderalis, so I guess I've held on to that assumption and now they can be just as potent as normal weed. Sometimes it's hard for an old dog to learn new tricks, haha.

Yeah I've alwa grown anything I buy or get free to full maturity. Sometimes I get really surprising results. Yeah the stem is just growing don't worry about that unless it gets too big and cracks. But that only happens with fully matured girls usually. One would need to put some bark barrier on it so that its inside stem is protected. The two round leaves will fall off when she reaches full veg also.

I just popped a think different from Dutch passion yesterday and she's gonna be my first dwc. I'll keep yall updated on her progress.

Here's a few pics of th progress, she's bushing out but leaves are still growing all weird. Started feeding molasses @ 1tbs/gal, and then cutting that with water. Just to let her get used to it. My BBXWW and strawberry are starting to poke their heads up!

Yeah man she's looki very healthy. Try adding some bat guano to your water every other watering and watch her explode! You can get a 2.2lb bag of Jamaican bat guano from Amazon pretty cheap. I always make sure to add it to my water in a gallon milk jug and let it sit over night just in case there's any spider mites in there it'll drown em. Lol. She sure is showing a lot of her fathers ruderalis structure. How's the cfl box coming along?

It isn't yet haha. My big bud and strawberry are just starting to poke their heads out today, so i am trying to dry them out, as i think i watered a little too heavy this morning. But i am planning on taking 2-4 clones from them and veging them untill my two mothers are finished. A friend of mine might give me a couple cut of one of her plants as soon as i am ready. But it really just depends on how long my auto takes and how these two seeds do. I will probably get it going around april/may to tell you the truth.

Sounds like you got it together. I just popped a chocolope from DNA that I'm strictly growing for outdoor clones this year. I love that strain and man does she flourish outdoors. She's won a shit ton of awards from all over the world and I have high hopes and big dreams for this one. Your ak will be done in what 9 weeks? I think that's her lifespan. She'll be a good bumper for both of us hopefully. I looked up that socket splitter you were considering buying on Amazon. Pretty freaking cool.

Nice man! But yeah 9 weeks is life expectancy, but I've been reading add about a week maybe two depending on the strain. I saw one guys didn't start flowering till like week 6 or later. But we will see what happens. I'm optimistic. She keeps blowing out pistils and maybe a few bud sights?. If I were to want to try lst when should I tie it down. And if it's growing one way anyway would I want to tie it the opposite?

Yeah I'd tie down in a pattern. What you do to one side you should do to the other for uniformity if you want a a decent yield. I always top my autos too. I do it so that I end up with two huge top colas instead of just one. I always use the soft pinch method and it always works 100%. I've got my lil 3x3 tent crammed to the max with five potted plants and I just put a single DWC setup with my think different auto fem in today. I'm considering getting another smaller tent just for veg as my one tent is catering all stages right now and it makes it difficult to properly maintain the different stages. I'm running everything on a 24 hour light cycle and it's too late to switch some of my flowering plants to a different light cycle. So I'll probably be ordering a new smaller tent and a cheaper vipar led. Hopefully soon.

Nice i hope that works out for a nice little veg/auto tent. I tied her down today for the first time, maybe im late? Idk. She's starting to develop lots and lots of pistils and has grown to about 6-7" I forgot to measure before tying down. But its starting to smell of plant and coffee almost? My big bud is going pretty well, but i think i drowned my strawberry cheesecake so ill probably throw the last auto i have so i can at least get two plants from my second harvest...or i could just try to grow a monster lst/topped bb/ww lol. But we will see im getting ahead of myself. I need to finish this one first!

I decided to go into the seed vault and pull a star ryder from Dutch passion to grow along side my think different. I'm Doing them both DWC so I hope I have the room for both of em in my 3x3. Oh well I'll make em fit lol.
