BlackBear's Mystery seed grow

BlackBear here and i am proud to start a new crop of cannabis.
The seeds used are from various bags of dank that i've saved over the years. Starting with 12 seeds i germinated using the paper towel method. Taproot showed on 7 seeds 2 days later. They were then placed gently in 1 gallon containers filled with moist soil, being very careful not to bury the little seeds or pack them in to tight. The next day 3 more seeds showed taproot and were handled with the same love and care. But sadly they never sprouted. The other 2 seeds never germinated.

Cotyledon are out 6 days after starting germinating and showing first true leaves. To give the seedlings the best possible start i like to place them under 6500K T5's. I get spectacular growth using these T5's granted the bulb is as close to the plant as possible without touching.

BlackBear here with an update to my mystery seed grow. As you can see from the pictures they are off to a good start. The soil is: Roots Organic potting mix, premium earthworm castings, perlite, NPK .25-.25-1 guano, and oyster shell. This makes for a nice airy soil that holds water well. I watered the soil till run off prior to sowing the seeds. That way the new emerging seedlings have plenty of moisture in the pot. As the seedling grows and the pots slowly dry out, the roots seek out the surrounding medium. It is 11 days since cotyledon and the soil is still holding on to some moisture. Its important not to water now because the little root system developing needs air. I'll stick my finger in the soil and holes in the bottom and feel for moisture. Also I'll lift the pot up to see how heavy it is. If the plant wilts from not enough water feel how heavy the pot is.... thats to light. Over the next few days the pots will dry out. Only at that time will i water. Watering just enough to get some run off. Till next time...

The plants seem to be responding well to my natural growing methods. They lack the intense vigor of a hydroponic system, but i do my best with what i think is the way all plants should be grown on earth... in soil.

My plants got transplanted a little early. Having delt with pot binding in the past i learned not to keep a plant in those 1 gal containers too long. The overall growth of the plants above ground was rapid enough to suspect that the roots were quickly filling the rich soil below.
I only really watered once while the plants were in the 1 gal containers. Using Bio-Nova Citric acid to bring the ph down to 6.0. When the pots dryed out after that 2 to 3 days later i transplanted.

Transplant included:
Waiting for the plants medium to dry makes the seperation of roots from pot easier. I filled 5 gallon containers with a special local soil and soaked it with diluted Rhizotonic solution and sprinkled some Roots Oregonizm XL into the transplant holes.
I then gently transplanted the plants from the 1 gal to the 5 gal containers. One by one i watered them in with diluted Rhizotonic solution tell runoff.
Timeing the transplant to be right when the lights turn off the plants have all night to recover from any shock.
The plants responded well to the transplant.
