Food for thought; Mulch the top of the soil =) it distributes the water more evenly (with the bigger chunky mulch) and it prevents the heat from the HIDS from hitting the soil. Pieces of black and white poly can also be cut into large squares to fit around the top of the hydroton. This prevents algae with rockwool and algae in general.

what are you talking about? my system is hydrophonic, what you're saying is nor irrevelant. the yellowness on the leaves are because of absence of calcium. NOOBB

Your coco bro. I address both your single soil plant and two hydro plants seperately. The mulch for soil. The plastic squares for your hydroton. Either way you aren't using either method. I say sir you are the noob. Re-read my post.

IMO. You can't really go round calling people noob whilst calling your system hydrophonic. ;)

Nice setup and plants dude.

Looks like you got some healthy looking plants for a NOOB, lol.

Make sure you use an EWC tea before the cyanobacteria lurking in your tap devours your roots.

Check out Heizenberg's EWC Tea Thread here on rollitup.org.
