Black Fabric (FIRE)!!!

Hey guys,

So I've built a wooden box, and have stapled black fabric as the walls to let the 'small grow room' breathe yet block out light.

Perfect for what I need, apart from a possible fire.

Now how high do you think the temps can get before it catches fire, the cfl's wont be touching the material. They will be at a reasonable distance away from the fabric walls.

I'm thinking if I have my portable air con pointed at my box, the temps will be fine, unless a light falls down.

Which it wont =P

Cheers guys!! :weed:

Unless you have defective wiring CFL's don't get hot enough to ignite anything, maybe if they're 125/250W they might scorch cloth but only if they were touching it.

You don't want temps over 85F anyway for the plants sake.:peace:
