i've been giving them RO water only
they had an alfalfa/kelp/molasses/ewc/high N guano tea after transplant and topping because they seemed a little in shock,

the group before i gave them some RO water this morning :)
DSC00348.JPG
these 5 are sin mint cookie babies
DSC00349.JPG
this trio are all Chernobyl

hope for about 4 to 6 females out of the 8 ,
we shall see in due time,
the top nodes on most of the plants are starting to alternate
a few plants are hinting at pre-flowers but its too early to tell

i intend to veg them for a bit in these pots and re-pot them into final containers
and veg for another few weeks, then when desired size is reached, flip to 12\12

sorry I've been away for a bit everyone,
i have a lot of Dr appointments these days since the car accident to check up on all the damage

but here is a picture

mixed news this time good and a lil bad lets start with the good

they are doing great drinking a little more water than before and getting wider and taller
the topping so young i think is a nice variation from my usual grows :)

sad to say i found on some lower leaves some thrip larvae or pupae
and the signature silverish marks yesterday afternoon..

i still have some time before flower gotta transplant and train a bit more potentially 3 weeks to a month i think that is long enough to rid me of these buggers

peace, love, and weed
happy gardening everyone!

update for 6/4/2015:

transplanting to larger #7 containers today
pro-mix on top
and super soil mix i made on bottom

hope i will never have to use roots as a base again

it gave me gnats some thrip larvae but I'm dealing with all that while i am still in veg
neem and keeping and eye on humidity for the gnats is best

here they are in the new homes

some are a little more droopy than others from the transplant
but overall several look much happier and a lil perky

and from the looks of the roots if i waited longer i could've been risking some of them going root bound, good thing i got the pro-mix yesterday and some bigger pots!

hope they settle in well I'm getting a compost tea together to give them in a day or two
depending how they look

also will be repeating neem, and compost tea as preventatives and keeping a watch on temps and humidity to keep the thrip larvae and gnats in check

which i think i got from the roots organic base i cleaned everything and started from seed this run..

wish i was in better health myself so i could give my babies more attention but i must be patient

hope you all have a great day,

looked at them today to see how they are

extra perky, new growth looking nice

DSC00358.JPG DSC00361.JPG

and so far no more gnats or thrips been keeping close eyes on every plant

i think I'm going to keep vegging in these pots for a couple weeks, and then will probably flower
soon to ulitilize the super soil layered under the plants :)

happy gardening all!

clip on fan fell today and broke a sin mint cookies branching :(

made my morning super sad but let's cheer it up with a bowl and some good vibes :)

if the snap wasn't this bad i would tape it and try to preserve but i threw him/her outside tried to support it as best as possible lets see if the area reconnects a little, I've seen it happen to an extent before so I'm not sure we shall see

if not other 4 sin mint cookies are all i have from that strain left still growing , good thing i have extra seeds of them !
so now with the 3 chernobyl, I'm down to 7 all in all

looks like it's time to see if i can find a source of elite clones to fill up the small bit of extra space i have available now wish me luck!

happy gardening all !

p.s. this is the last pic i snapped last night with all 8 still happy

update Saturday 6/14/2015

picked up some nice cuts couple days ago to put into flower once these are done

i went with 707 headband, and a nice og cut

as for the current little ones, they are bushing out getting taller , drinking more RO every time i water, stinking up the side of my house where the exhaust is ducted

the little LA og clone i put in the corner to replace the sin mint that the fan fell on is dwarfed by its neighbors haha
i wish it happened earlier so it could have a shot to catch up before flower but it's okay

i started brewing a compost tea today as well :

5 gallons RO water with two airstones in the bottom of the bucket

in an old sock i put this mix then left it brewing in the water:

1/3 cup high N bat guano
1/3 cup high quality soil mix ( cooked for 2 months, amended thoroughly with ewc, guano, Alaskan forest humus, rock phosphate, bone meal , blood meal, kelp, alfalfa , dolomite lime, basalt, Epsom salts , gypsum, green sand, etc etc etc)
1/3 cup Bio - Fish ( down to earth, mix of fish bone meal, fish meal, feather meal, sulfate of potash, alfalfa meal, and kelp meal)

then i added to the water:

5 tbsp Un-sulphured Black strap molasses

1 tea bag Bu's best bio dynamic compost tomato tea ( dairy cow manure, bio dynamic vineyard chips, concentrations of bio dynamic preparations: equisetum, dandelion, chamomile, stinging nettle, yarrow, oak bark, & Valerian, worm castings , and kelp)

it's foaming up well, and smells nice and earthy :)

love the results from act so vigorous after applying

will take a few pics over the next few days
getting ready to flip I'm running out of room

plus i need to sex the seedlings so i can have more room for the girls once they all show :)
from pre-flowers looks like I'm gonna have :

two female sin mint out of the four left
and two female chernobyl and the small female LA og clone i put in there

but lets see there's a few plants that i can't tell so they are either males or late showing
and i will do a final inspection for bugs, eggs, pm, etc before i flip just to be sure

things are starting to really smell nice and terpy i can't wait to see the outcome
while the 707 headband and Og cut i got veg in my closet

good times will be starting a tga/bodhi run most likely after the clones
either jillybean or the flav , and then either prayer tower or sunshine daydream

happy gardening all !

chernobyl all popping white hairs out of upper nodes i think they're all female :)
plus one sin mint is doing the same , a few other sin mint i can't tell yet but soon

and the LA og clone i have so that adds up to 5 females so far :)

worked on the closet veg/clone area yesterday
just need to lay more tarp and get small light chains so i can lower the light a few inches

got the OG kush and 707 headband in there for now :)
transplanted them into solo cups of pro-mix

applied great white mycorrhizae directly to the roots and pro-mix they got potted into
the OG kush perked right up seems like the headband is starting to pop new growth
a few OG's might be too

seems like things are going well up here while the Chernobyl and Sin Mint are getting sexed and prepped for flower downstairs in my garage :)

happy gardening all!
