Ok, does anyone know the process of recalling our Attorney General Bill Schuette, or know if there is already one circulating? I would really like to sign that petition on grounds of violating the voters mandate. If people are trying to recall representatives and the governor over reducing the deficit by cutting government spending, I believe this Mr. Schuette can be recalled for ignoring the people's vote.

he gave clarification to the MMA law, and thats what the big groups, Norml..MMMA..so on, were asking for, clarification.
well here it is.
Its nothing more than we have been living with already and those that are patient/growers have been following this setup since day 1.

I totally agree with you that it provides some much needed clarification. As someone who puts great effort into staying within the law I am one of those that wanted that clarification. However I do not agree that even the most compliant caregivers were following this setup since day 1, the fact that you need to now have each patients plants in a seperate locked enclosed facility violates most of us immediately and creates a ton of potential problems with maintaining a perpetual system. I know I havent seen one persons setup from michigan that has a seperate "facility" for each patients plants. Are you supposed to rip everything down and build 6 rooms, 1 for each patient, then take those rooms and divide them into veg and flower areas? I would need to run a minimum of 12 lights and that would be with each patients facility having only 1 veg and 1 flower light. That only takes into account the lighting issues that would arise. Do any of you honestly know a caregiver that built his op this way from the start? Hell I dont even think it is going to be possible in the spaces that some caregivers are currently growing in.

It was an opinion not law. read it.
Written opinions of the state attorney general treated as law until or unless struck down by the courts, at least that is what my research is telling me. Do you have anything useful to add to the discussion? If AG written opinion being viewed as law is a fact, what good is saying this sucks I dont think that is right so Im just going to disregard it? Of course I hate being oppressed by my elected officials as much as the next person, my points are strictly from the view of a caregiver who is trying to stay fully compliant with a changing law.
