I know that if u let it go a bit longer and let the crystals turn more amber it goes from THC to cbd would a cbd strain have more of a couch lock and sleep inducing effect

THC does NOT turn into CBD, my friend - I think you meant to say THC degrades into CBN. The longer you let the plant mature, it will 'over-ripen' and the trichomes WILL become more and more orange AND the result will be more of a couch like high, so you did get that part right.

Critical kush from barneys, I recommend it, I got some of the best smoke ppl has tried around here from it, I got a pound off 2 outdoors, i kept it tied down and it got 5 ft high and just as wide, big cola but mostly golf size evenly all round

I want to find something that is going to be a monstrous beast I'm not in Cali I'm on the east coast and the best I've done is about 6 foot tall with topping and about 8 foot round with caging and a 50gl hole I know the bigger the pot the bigger the plant but I would really like to maximize this space any info is appreciated

Mid south here.... Sativas will get big but if you want massive plants id start in august the year before and put them outside in april with a cfl light on em so they wont go into flower. Not a strong light but enough so it wont draw attention but wont let the plant flower.

Feed her to grow big for the next several months and she will be 12-15 ft tall by october. Done this several times and doing it now on 5 plants.
I had one sativa that did not even start flowering until november one time. Big plant but freeze got her.

They need space and loose dirt at the compaction layer if you have one. Ours is around 12-15" down. Break that up so roots can go deep.
Use straight from seed as those plants have a tap root and seem to grow better... Well at least for me.

What you will have to contend with is the humoungous size of it and support of the branches. These plants will have a base the size of your leg and braches the size of your wrists.

Sativas wont finish until real late but some can withstand colder temps in the right spots.

Iess of a mold problem as well with the humidity.

Glad you said this. I have some of those beans in the fridge, might have to try them out.

Do the bud develop into golfball sized nuggets?? If so id love this instead of colas. Easier for me to trim in my trimmer and easier to sell as those nugs are usually a gram or 2 anyways. Colas are damn sexy but i dont have many customers who like breaking them down and reselling. Lot of stem in their.

Do the plants there grow like in Cali all the kush I've ever grown has been ok but nothing impressive
I have had a lot of positive feedback on critical mass, critical skunk, girl scout, iced grapefruit (c99 cut), wonder woman, og kush, and several different hazes.
It all depends on the weather where you are at. Some years where we have a lot of rain when he plants are budding all those heavy indicas that put on huge buds would not do well at all. They mold mostly before they are even close to being ready. Sativas do well but you lose some in years with an early freeze. So you need to plant a mixture of all of them to cover all bases. This past year you could not ask for a more perfect season for growing outside as there was plenty of rain early on and then during fill it stopped raining and it stayed warm until mid-December. A problem for me was I did not have anything outside. That was because of the 5-0 breathing down my neck.

Right now I can't start them inside where I'm at

It gets good solid dense colas, and everything else was golf ball size buds, really really easy to trim, bud to leaf ratio is awsome

Do you have an attic? If so make you a little box if its cold and put a cfl in it so you can get one started. Run electric from a junction box. Big enough box run you a 60 watt cfl and start a dozen or so. If you can get 1 month growth that will be a month extra that you didnt have before. Depending on strain that could be a lot more weight.

I made me a little hiding spot for it I can start about 10 or so or I can get 1 plant to grow about 2ft before going outside if I get fem seeds ill probably only do the one big one because my spots outside I only done 1 big hole and the rest ill probably start when it time to

If you guys start them inside match your timer to the suns time. I've never worried about it as most strains will reveg.
Last year I started some under 18 hours light and put them out and they tried to flower and never revegetated. They sat all summer stalled then flowered come fall.

Here is what it is like where I'm at spring time it rains almost consistently till July to September is hot as shit with no rain then October to December is alot of rain and the temps are around the 50s like right now its 68 right now one week we had about an inch of snow and below freezing temps I had angelica last year from bodhi seeds and I had to keep an eye out for mold and I took it maybe a week early because they were just a little bit of mold on a couple different plants

You would have to add a couple hours of extra light right now or they will flower but how much to match the spring sun how many hours is that?
