skywalker og & pre 98 bubba are great outdoor. pretty much most plants get big if you start them early. but those two yield a lot & are bomb.

I had a freak cal. orange bud that I brought seeds from cal. to ny in 85-86. Thing got an easy 15 ft. tall. huge buds branches as big as my leg. ended up with just under 12 lbs. I wish I still had it in clone.

Grew two Critical Kushes last summer, aprox 8 LBs off them both and I threw away at least 2 Lbs of mold from the early rains, so I can safely say they averaged 5lbs each and grew to 12 or 13 feet. My Girl Scout Cookies were bigger at about 16 feet but only yield about 2.5 lbs each, closer to 3lb if you count the rain mold I threw away also on these.

I thought about getting a gsc cross but I didn't know if they would be bigger plants or not and the critical kush was that barneys strain IV looked at it to was it a good couch lock

I grew them both indoors for a few years before trying them outdoors. I like them both a lot and would recommend them.

The GSC was from Cali Connection. GSC was very finicy indoors and seeded up once on me, it also grows in spears that like to get really tall so I had a lot of trouble with it. Outdoors though it was a dream to grow. Low maintenance and lots of easy to trim golf ball sized buds. Just tie up all your branches because they break easy at the connections to the main stalks, it grows very tall also with most of the buds on the top. The outdoor quality was top notch and is generally the favorite with my friends.

The Critical Kush was Barneys and wow it is a producer. One of my best ever, indoor and out. It grows in a big round bush structure with a crazy amount of buds equally all over it. I had lots of mold with it, but we also had torrential rain the last two weeks of harvest and had to harvest them early, so its hard to fault the plant to much (the GSC next to it had much less mold and still harvested less per plant). Indoor its 100% fire, outdoor it was A-/B+ which could probably be improved on.

I liked these strains both so much though that I have Cookies Kush and GSC from BC buds to try in the near future.

East coast you probably want to avoid any thing haze or sativa leaning, especially if you want to conceal them. In northern Illinois lethal purple and manitoba poison did well and harvested mid late sept first of Oct range. I would also look at peakseedsbc and Mike's timewarp crosses. These are more hardy outdoor strains that yield well. I would also look at that kc brains mango too.

I want to find something that is going to be a monstrous beast I'm not in Cali I'm on the east coast and the best I've done is about 6 foot tall with topping and about 8 foot round with caging and a 50gl hole I know the bigger the pot the bigger the plant but I would really like to maximize this space any info is appreciated
To grow any strain really big you need lots of roots and lots of sun. Anything you can do to improve those will help a lot. Things like early indoor vegging, composting all winter, using teas and benificial bacterias, planted in the ground preferably in raised garden bed, having a auto water system, fertilizing just right, supporting the plant as it grows are all things that helped me last year.

Get a good long flowering sativa that starts flowering late. I have seen then 20 ft plus here. I'm close to the east coast.

If I go with a sativa it will be buy its self IV had some bag seed that I topped twice and it still got a good 12 feet it had purple in it a real monster it has been the biggest plant IV grown but someone stole it it out grew the vegetation around it and if u got close to it u could see it really easy with the purple but I won't make that mistake again trail cameras are useful lol
