Nice let's see some PV dank, you planning to scrog whatever makes it through soil or veg/cull until only the best survive?
I have never ran a SCROG before G so not sure.......? I really like the way you and @sixstring2112 and others train the plants but still bush them out and let them grow more natural like my flower girls that you saw. I guess a lot will depend on space. I do have to say it's an adjustment going from a 3x3 flower tent to a 5x9......things are simpler in a way but just different and require some getting use to. You have to change your mentality a bit on how you see the room and try not to compartmentalize everything.

For now I will just go culling along and keeping the best and we will play it by ear. I am VERY excited for this grow

Stoner moment, meant SOG. When I drop a bunch of seeds, most of the time I cull between the cups and 1gal stage and select only the best male or female. Alternatively, if I have the room or get some decent looking and behaving seedlings I'll SOG them which is just flipping them all earlier in smaller containers, no training, straight up to eventually see their full potential.

My mentality is some like yours and some not. Since I bought these and they're not testers I can do as I please. I'm all for getting a good look at the plant but I just need to top at least once and defoliate a couple of times if not it drives me mad. And my thinking there is let me see the potential of the plants with how I grow my plants, if I let it ride and it's a beast but I top her once and she goes to shit that's definitely not my plant. I bought the 1 gallon bags to let them build roots more than a solo cup while I top and try to sex them, early. They're cheap and can be cut away. A lot easier to deal with than the fabric 100 bags was $15. Should last a bit lol.

ETA: I will try an SOG in the future to see how that goes vs less larger plants, but not until I find the right pheno of something for that.

Here's the post defoliation/topping shot for you guys :) I started torturing them day before yesterday, let the show begin, the Sin City Tangerine Power is really starting to let me down the two in here are the only two of six beans to pop soil and are growing very weak and slow, I am seriously about to cull them because I have good clones in bags under T5's waiting to come into the veg tent.......

The PV is all but (2) of the 1 gallon bags

Despite the slow growers, it looks amazingly healthy in there. The fresh start looks to be paying off broski
Thanks brother. This is the healthiest my garden has been since I started growing bro, I guess I am finally just finding what works for me and getting it dialed in. I gotta tell you that "for me" soil just works, and this move to no till has been an amazing and fun adventure so far. I cannot wait to try my first smoke off of some organic buds.

Ya I mean I smoke my synthetic grown weed and it's fire but I can imagine what I'd do with organics and have buddies who do it constantly who always have the best smoke. I'll be joining soon
Sweet if I can be of any help man let me know. I have spent the last few months reading up on this before making the switch for this run. Feel free to discuss in my threads too no worries. I don't mind any discussion just don't like bickering and trolling is all.

I have been following your grow for a while, it has been an inspiration.

Looks good brother. Ill be taking a seat for the showbongsmilie. I plan on grabbing some p.v. once I find them somewhere:bigjoint:
I haven't seen any around lately I was looking the other day to find the lineage when @sharptater asked me and didn't see it around. I am excited from what I have seen in other pics. Its the first purple strain I am growing out too so that's exciting. I am going to definitely run any fems I get another time from Clone. I am curious in the future to see if the 315 cmh will bring the colors out even more when I get my hands on one again.

I culled two so far that were not growing well but of the seedlings left everything is growing well and taking well to topping and defoliation.

Yeah I haven't heard anything about the purple voodoo being made again so its gonna be a wait and see for me. The lineage of her sounds very good though. I sog my plants into a trellis so defoliation is a major part of my grow technique. All about light to those bud sights in my position.

It's all about light to bud sights period or it should be. That's why I defoliate as I do this was my first round messing with it and I am getting better and faster results with defol and lst than topping and super cropping but I still top early on for desired number of mains

I do the same I top and super crop and defoliate. I usually have a very even canopy for the amount of different strains I run. I clean everything below the trellis out. Everything above stays besides huge fans.

Yup that's my main focus right now because I run different strains as well. Is learning to read the plants and create an even canopy purposefully. This is the first grow where I feel as in control of how my plants are growing. You know not topping just because. Like I have one clone of green love potion that I topped in veg and stripped all the fans to allow the lower sights to come up and she has responded beautifully. It's just becoming fun now because I'm not stressing deficiencies and shit and just watering and enjoying watching them grow. The plants I have going now are going much better than expected for me as I am in a new medium and under new lighting and using new techniques. I guess shit is just starting to fall into place for me grow wise. This is the healthiest my plants have ever been and for sure the plants are making me look good. I'm still a newb bro and have a lot to learn.

I always let the plants teach me what they need or want. I always go by the rule if shits green and healthy and everyone is happy just stay doing what ur doing. I've been at it perpetually for almost 3 years and still learning new shit everyday. Your smart starting off no till it cuts a ton of cost out of its done correctly. Before that I was a land partner in cali and did all outdoor grows. That was a total bitch in my opinion. I love outdoor and cali but indoor I control everything and there isn't a day of shade in my tent ever lol. Plus I don't gotta deal with trimmers or rats trying to steal product. Or greedy "hippies" at that point. Money and greed is what drove me out as cali.

Yeah I've been reading on no till for a long time and finally decided to make the jump. And it being organic was not the driving factor for me. It was lower cost for the grow without buying nutes and less work and hassle. No more meters and PH and PPM and EC and all that crap. You take care of the soil make sure the worms are good and just grow your plants add water when necessary. There are things I do as extras but not necessary like the coconut and aloe in some of the feedings and top dressings here and there malted barley and seed sprout teas etc. I just got my molasses in to do a tea for my girls in flower just waiting for everyone to finish sexing out first.

Little update with shitty pic. From left to right you can see 6 of the PV and then the seventh to the left of the fan. I culled the last runt there was two total. Now to wait and see who's a boy and who's a girl lol.......... Down to (7) PV of 13 beans that I started with a few didn't pop but no biggie.
