Big bushes indoors vs. sea of green

In order to keep with in my legal limits i might be trying to do 4 indoor plants in my budding room and 4 in my veg room and 4 rooting. A partner of mine is all about sea of green but we recently met someone who told us they were getting 1lb. per each indoor plant and harvesting every 60 days. I think the stain was 'the flow'. How long would my veg period be? should there be two veg rooms for this type of op? IS anyone familiar with this? Any advice i that might help?

I prefer to grow em big and my last 3 indoor plants yielded 4.5 pound which I am yet to see from a small SOG. It all comes down to how much room you have and your lighting.

Could you please describe your lights/setup...

I am under the impression that you would need a couple K worth to evenly flower a LB bush indoors...:o

Props to you mate.... that is a good number to pull off....

Well this is just what i was hearing. I haven't done it yet. Currently in possesion of a 400W HPS and soon upgrading to 1K. I would be happy with two 8Oz. plants. How long would the veg be roughly.

M Blaze: Thats damn good weight. How big are your containers and how much lighting do you use to get that much? I don't think space will be a problem for me, their won't be crowding. And how long is the cycle?

The longer you veg the more you get. To a experienced or guided grower, generally speaking, more can be obtained from a SOG type setup than from bushes. Even assuming they both yield the same, it takes longer to grow 10 big plants than to cut 25 clones and vegging a week or two before flowering. You can get more harvests per year. Also SOG provides the plant canopy with more even lighting, a major contributing factor to the gereralization that SOG has a better yield. The downside to SOG is that you have more plants, on top of your say 25 clones, you might have 1-5 mother plants, as well as if you run a perpetual system, 25 more rooting clones for a week or two before you harvest. You will easily pass your legal limits by leaps and bounds!
I believe you might be referring to 'flo' origionally created by DJ Short.
You should only need two rooms, a Veg room and a flower room, but also know that you will need a seperate room for drying if you run a perpetual system.

Can anyone please describe the lighting they are using on one of these POUND PLANTS?????

I can't imagine it being efficient...... you'd need lights all around the plant... or it will just shade itself to nothing...

Can anyone please?

I am an SOG grower and have the potental to get 2 pounds dry every 2 week's! I don't thou for legal reason's! over the tray I use A 600 HPS and get plenty! When I run my 1000 HPS it almost doubles in size so I stuck with the 600! I my self do like the SOG and have done A SCROG and both are really productive.

The lighting I use is 4 x 600 watt and my rule of thumb is that I should always get a minimum of 1 pound for every 600 watt light. They are grown in coco and in 80 litre pots i think but I would have to check that. You can get a rough idea of my setup from the link in my signiture.

I was getting the 2 pounds from A total of 12 clones in the SOG! It is nice for the amount of room Iwas using and the SCROG was great for full plant's!

Grow 3 mother's in A closet and go that route with the SOG! Don't get me wrong u will get larger amounts from A full plant at once, but when u are kicking out 12- 1 oz drried buds at the min every 2 weeks u get alot! It all depends on ur prefrence! try them both!

First of all homie, you cannot get 1 pound from 1 plant, its impossible to get that from an indoor plant, if you said outdoor than i would believe you. Even if you vegged her out for 2 months its still impossible to get that much so stop throwing these lies around and making ppl think they can.

a while back me and a friend both had grows with the same amount of light and the same flood and drain tables, i grew 50 plants and he grew 12 and he actually got more than me by a good amount but then again he was vegging for about 3 weeks more than me, but yeah im all about less, bigger plants because of legal limits, plus its easier to take care of fewer plants also i mean shit a sog grow of a decent size is almost a full time job itself ya know
