how often do I need to have the ebb and flow flooding? I have it flood for 30 minutes then off for 30 minutes. It seems they are drinking water because I have added 2 gallons the past 2 days. PH is at 5.8 and PPM is at 2,300. Started out with a PPM of 2900.

Going to germinate some more seeds since these should be done soon. I also bought a 2 x 4 tent for vegging so lets have some fun!

I probably should have veg longer? Nothing seems to be getting to much bigger.

Ok did some trimming, a girlfriend of mine said to cut the water leaves off so I did on all the auto flowers. The scrog net was making me mad so I cut it to :D

I cut off all the water leaves.... let's hope I didn't just kill the entire crop...
how you been sister? grow looks good, hydro for your first grow and haven't killed one is great!!:leaf: I been through to many plants my first go around  soil is my preferred method but for cuttings all hydro.. for defoliating techniques I usually remove a little at a time or snipping the leaves in half, this actually recovers faster than removing leaves with less stress :hump: just wanted to show some love keep on growing ;)bongsmilie:bigjoint::peace::clap::hump::hug:

Don, it is wonderful to hear from you hun! A quick update. I am not in a cellar anymore and in a permanent setup situation! The little ladies survived the 4 hour drive in the negative degree weather! Here is some pictures. Also I was able to add the extra foot of tent because of tall ceilings! I will also say being short and setting up an 8 foot tent alone requires brains and not brawn. Thank god for my pully system I rigged. I am setting up the second tent tonight. I was exhausted last night from the first tent

I will update again later tonight <3 u Don for the advice, even if you are a dirty soil grower :p

Ok

So I didn't lose a plant, I hope that doesn't curse me, on my first grow and seems like everything is going as planned. The plants came in quite small and I am a bit disappointed but lessons learned I guess. I have a veg tent now and I plan on letting plants veg quite a bit longer, minus the autoflowers, so I can get a bigger plant and yield. I need to start topping earlier. I think some stretch would be good for my plants since my setup is for vertical growth and not horizontal growth. All and all I plan on cutting the autos down when the DCSSH are done and I am guessing that won't be until mid december. I will continue to update with pictures. I really cannot stress on how disappointed I am with my first grow :(
