Big Buddha Chiesel smoke report

Ok, this is my second time growing the Chiesel, the first time was a disappointment, due to human error. I would like to find the purple phenotype that I have seen pictures of, but haven't grown one yet. During harvest I noticed some of the smaller popcorn buds had some purple in them. So I know the pheno is out there to be found. Enjoy the smoke report, i would recomend this strain to more experienced growers because she seems a little prone to hermie when stressed just slightly. Notice the huge difference in color in hang dried buds(with the blue lighter) and the 2 week cured bud. (The cured nug is the same big one from the lighter picture)

Spectrums of Effects Of Big Buddha’s Chiesel
Chiesel Lineage:
Big Buddha Cheese(Female)X Soma’s New York City Diesel(Male)

1. Onset: fast effect or creeper.
creeper 1 2 3 4 5 fast

4, hits you on the second hit.

.

2. Up (stimulating) and Down (sedative)

Liven the disposition and stimulate the emotions:

Yes, I enjoying the music that I’m listening to right now.

Inspiring sociability and talkativeness:

Not very talkative, really feel like focusing on something in my mind.

Sedative and depressant effects:

I think that there are hints of a sedative effect, but very lightly.

.

3. Head High / Body Stone

Energizing:
Very mildly, I’m not jumping around the room but I feel like taking a walk.

Motivating:
I would say so.

Couch lock:
no couch lock

.

4. Emotional State Caused

Anxiety:
none

Euphoria:
mildly

Calm:
Perfect balance of calm.

paranoia:
na

.

5. Body - medicinal effects

Nausea:
I can see the cough from the first hit causing some nausea, but other than that, no.
Pain: I think it feels very good for joint relief, my back feels like one million bucks.

Seizures:
Possibly

Back:
Like I said, one million bucks.

Other Effects: Let me get back to you on that one.

.

6. Head - medicinal effects

Depression:
Good help

Mania:
?

Anxiety:
Good Help

Antisocial:
Not antisocial at all, it will help any “social” issues.

Anger:
It could work for anger.

7. Ceiling:
How high (of far) one is capable of going with the variety. How many hits can be consumed until more hits are unnoticeable.

Well, I taken my 3rd bong rip and I feel really loaded. I think it does have a ceiling.

.

8. Potency: weak 1 2 3 4 5 strong

3.5, it is strong but doesn’t blast you out of the sky.

.

9. Duration
short 1 2 3 4 5 long.

I would give it a 3, im not really sure how to compare duration, the high doesn’t run out fast though.

.

10. Tolerance:
ability to provide the same experience via the same amount over time – the burnout factor. "Over time" means the long run: months, years, decades...

Could not get burnt out of this weed.

11. Taste

Very sour and fuel tasting, but with a hint of citrus on the exhale, it could be nyc diesels grapefruit flaver mixed in there.

Nice report. I've been growing out the "purple" strain you mentioned for about 6 months and I absolutely love it. Buds are totally encrusted with trichomes, very dense, very sticky. My phenotype is very indica-dominant, expressing wide(r) leaves, heavy resin production and dense buds, but takes about 10+ weeks to properly finish. The aroma and taste are both very earthy, but a nice blend of cheese and diesel. Not overly fuely or cheesy.

Your description of the high is similar to what I experience though, with zero couch lock and more a clear-headed soaring high. Your description of it as a calming high is right on point too. I imagine it would be a very beneficial strain for people with depression or anxiety.

I personally love this strain...if I could only pick one of my many strains to continue growing, it would be this one without a doubt. It's my head stash :leaf:.

Here a few pics from a recent plant...

Yes Sir!!! Jerry Garcia, that is the one I am looking for, I think i have seen those pics before of yours, thats how i knew there was a purple pheno!! Great looking plant though, yes, the ones that I have grown have been indica dominant as well, and took around 9.5-10 weeks to finish. Very short, neat little plant. Here are some pics of mine at week 9.
