Big bud powder or ginormous?

JUST WONDERING WHICH IS BETTER OR IF ANYONE HAS USED EITHER BIG BUD FROM ADVANCED NUTRIENTS OR GINORMOUS FROM HUMBOLT NUTS? THANKS :leaf:

A fifty pound bag of monopotassium phoshphate is $200 on amazon with free shipping. Big Bud is around $20 for 130 grams. Fifty pounds is over 22,000 grams or approximately 174 times the amount of Big Bud for only ten times the price.

No brainer

But you shouldn't have to do anything but feed your plants properly, give them a good environment free of disease and pests and they will thrive without snake oils.

I agree. If you're looking to stay with the hobby for a year or more, even on a small scale, just buy your own raw salts. Here's a good tip if you want to formulate a good bud booster. Use the MKP for sure and spike it with Magnesium Amino Chelate (20%) powder. I have the recipe but I don't want to take the fun out of it. I'll give you a clue: Get a hold of the old label ( at least 4 years ago) for AN Big Bud. Then, go to sciencelab.com and look up Magnesium Amino Chelate(20%). Compare the percentage magnesium of both labels and reverse engineer the generic. You'll save some money and to be honest, farmers across the world almost always come up with their own formulas from raw salts. It's not that hard.

I used Bud Bloom and Big BUd by Advanced Nutrients for 3 seasons of growing. I tried also growing with CANNA Booster + CANNA PK13/14. I notice no difference in bud chunks. I Got same quality and same size buds in both ways. I gave up on Big Bud becuase it is in powder form. I am using Canna because it is all liquid and so easier to mix with water. I also tried growing with regular nutrients from the flower shops. I got pretty much same results. I think all those BOOSTER companies are just FULL OF CRAP.
