BHO Shatter + E-Cig (Ive read so many posts but having issue)

I don't even remember making an account here but I seemed to of already have one... stoner problems..

So I double boiled some BHO shatter (water wasn't boiling but almost) till it was liquidy but it wasn't a liquid it was really thick still but I figured thats what it needed to be, then I added some flavoured e-cig liquid to mix in but it just turned to one big clump.

Second attempt I put both in at the same time some melted into it but near the end the shatter took a solid color then i broke it into pieces didnt seem to be melting so I am not sure whats going on but wont really blend in.

The bottom of the shot glass is really thick and since im only testing im using not much shatter per test so maybe the heat isnt reaching the BHO to melt it all the way?

Heard it separates from vg horribly, don't know first hand, will in <month I'd try it in a 80/20 first and see how long it stays together...

I'm not excited about using ejmix, but there's a limited amount of other options.... edit not to say it couldn't work out perfectly fine

.....I wonder if that plastic taste comes from bumic acid [or diacytel? I forget which replaces which...] that "DX" mixes have...

Check vapeure out. They are all really just proprietary mixes of peg 200-400 (molecular weight). If you can suspended the BHO in the ejmix or vapeure mix adding vg/pg will only dilute it, to a certain point where it will fall out of suspension and clog your element. I've read of users having no separation at seven months! As always there is a trade off with vg and pg. I believe pg makes clouds, where vg has a smoothness to it..either way there is a huge thread on it filled with info and techs by growindad check it out..

Thanks guys, I am not sure what I was using cause it was already a product that had flavour in it from a e-cig brand (waiting for my pure PG) but when i tried it just turned into chunks i could not get it to melt with the liquid its some hi grade shatter too.

Every normal ecig juice has a combo of VG and PG, or if not a combo it is 100% VG. VG makes the hash oil glop up. You need to use PG or PEG products ONLY...

As I have posted many times, you do not need to use a lot of EJ Mix (or I assume Vapeur). I add in ONE DROP of EJ Mix per ML of QWET. That is all. Then I add in flavored PG at 2 ml per ml of QWET. The flavoring is in the PG at 35%. When all is said an done, I don't taste the EJ Mix nastiness at all, and the berry cream flavor is not overly noticeable, which amazes me.

If you want get a PG only base easily, check out Mt Baker Vapor. You can specify 100% PG and have them add extra flavor. Or just buy a gallon of PG (I got mine at Tractor Supply) and you can buy the flavors from Mt Baker.

@Indagrow, VG is actually smoother and produces more clouds.

I was trying to remember that rundown chart in your thread where it had the different ratios of pg and vg.. Looks like I missed haha

What's the benefit if any of pg then? Smaller clouds for being incognito?

Followed your tech in our pm and loved the first run at it.. Looking for a one and done situation so I'll push the limits at the expense of elements haha.. I think this ultra sonic tweek will lead to a more complete solution will hopefully full suspension.. Next step is stoichiometry (kind of)

PG is commonly used to get livestock to eat their vitamins. So think of places that sell stuff to farmers with cattle, hogs, etc. Or Amazon of course!

PG is what was used in original ecigs. Then the complexity went nuts and some people claim it bothers them. I THINK (not sure) that PG works with lower powered batteries and tech better than VG. The all VG juices are primarily for drippers with high W batteries, not tank systems (until the modern sub ohm stuff). It is also thicker and smoother.

So today, with people wanting to exhale huge plumes of vape, they go all VG. Most people are trying to stay of tobacco cigs and like some throat hit, so the PG works for that. Thus why most today are a mix.

But as it relates to weed juice, for whatever reason oil doesn't stay suspended in VG...

Vegetable glycerin makes clouds thicker and dense.
Propylene glycol helps dilute it and blend flavors with vg, i think it also acts as some type of sterilizer.

The more vg, the thicker the juice. It is oil after all. *edit, sorry bro:bigjoint: growing dad beat me too it lol

Well boys first things first... fuck you guys are helpful! I swear only smokers dont hate on people because they have a question and such I really appreciate all the positive feedback and info!

So with the PG I found i did .5 with 2ml of PG - can deff taste the shatter in the pg but not strong enough, I am pretty sure i get high too its like a head high i feel it in my head and body.

I had a bit leftover in a syringe and it has still yet to seperate after a good 10 hours of just sitting in room temp i figure this is a good sign also!!!!

If i want a really strong hit and for it to taste great whats the recommended ratio 1g for every 2ml? ive looked online and have seen lots of different recipe - I was quality taste and high but need to stretch as much as I can
