BHO Manual Extraction

I blow a tube filled with 80 grams of very fine, lightly packed trim using 2 320mL cans of Vector 14x refined butane into a pyrex dish that immediately goes to a boiling water bath for several minutes. Here are a few pics of it being extracted using a tempered pot on the stove top. I leave it on the stovetop between 45-70 minutes, just depending on a few factors. The final step is yet to come. I will stretch it out like Taffy & get the remaining butane out by hand working it with a toothpick. It'll be scraped with a razor blade onto parchment paper to finish curing.

You should get it out of the pirex while its still wet

I got 2 cases to blow today woohoo...

My house is smelling so dank. I haven't had honey oil like this in over 3 years. I finally got around to growing again after a little hiatus and it's so nice to put only fire trim in the tube and use my method to ensure all the butane is extracted. Nothing like your own...

Yes I sure do. The answer is you can not remove butane with just heat and whipping. And if you could you w oil uld be left with tasteless oil from lack of terps you burned off

I'm positive because I don't remove it from my Pyrex dish until it's been stretched & worked to the point there are no more bubbles evaporating and popping. I'm about to start working it now. It's going to take 15-20 minutes so I'll be back in an hour or so with the final results.

How do you know you can't? Do you have tests of any of my BHO? I haven't tested it, but since it's just for me, I'll take my chances. Thanks for being concerned about my health, though. Many Thanks!

I know what forum I'm posting to & I welcome constructive banner, even criticism. The fact is, butane can be extracted completely with heat & whipping. Liquid Butane evaporates like any other liquid. I agree, a vacuum chamber is nice. You just set it and forget it. I was making hash this way before there were vacuum chambers. All you people on here think you know it all. I was probably making BHO with this tried & true method before you were even catching a school bus. All you kids out here sit back and learn. You have 2 eyes, 2 ears, and one mouth for a reason.

A vacuum chamber isnt just nice ITS NECESSITY. Just because you have done something the wrong way "forever" doesnt make it less wrong. What does your heat purged oil taste and smell like? Finished consistency?
