better to push or pull air into tent?

Getting a tent with one inline fan (for now) would it be better to have the fan pushing air out of the tent or pulling fresh air into the tent?

You should have it set to exhaust the tent.

You need to remove the hot air otherwise if you push air in where will it go eventually?
Nowhere!

Exhaust out as far away from your area as you can then open a few flaps on the bottom of the tent so that air is passively drawn into the tent from the surrounding room.

iv always pulled the air in and pushed the air out

Pull air out with exhaust to create negative pressure. A vent or two open should be enough for intake.

like jondamon said you need to blow the hot air out and bring the fresh cool air in and distribute that air as low as possible in your grow space. it will heat up rise and then you push that air out, usually pulling through your carbon filter

haha i may of said it wrong you do PULL the air from inside forcing it out wards...

Pull the air in make the filters do there job yes two filters. Think of the smell...
