i gor three sativa dominant auto strains that are 87days old and 62days in flowering, i used to put them out all the day long and back in at night under 400w of cfl lights with unfortunately poor reflection and conditions till now, they are still popping new pistils (white hairs) everywhere around the buds so i'm planning to harvest after 2weeks for the first harvest and 4 weeks for the second one, i just got an a/c and i'm wondering, should i let them in now since temps gets really crazy outside (100°f-115°f under direct radiation) yet i can put a fan to blow on them there, or juts keep putting them out despite the high temps

an [email protected] cat that isn't even mine and leaves his damn hairs every where, i would have prefered a dog, with such hairs it could only be a husky, so here i am two weeks later, kept them in, thinking about the boiling stems to accelerate the curing by killing the roots and putting the plant in a survival mode by depriving it from O2 which accelerates the fermentation process, it's harsh and crual, but its said to work? with results such as buds teasting like cured a week ago right after drying.........any truth behind it?!?

outdoor temps aint nothing, its the lack of c02 indoors when the heat begins to suffer the plant.

so how to introduce an intake and an exhaust in a room cooled by split a/c?

sure, but why would you need that with a split ac in operation?

you could intake/exhaust through cool tube light fixtures. some people waste up with c02/ac/exhaust cycles
all operated with an atmosphere controller. I have one I use for c02/lights in veg and in flower/dehuey and I use the temp/exhaust setting
put high to turn on an outside light as an alarm for me if it gets too hot for my liking. hasnt happened yet, but nice to be able to look out the window and see a light if theres an issue in the grow barn right.
I dont vent my room, stays sealed mostly full time less I'm in there sometimes

well temps here gets to 95/105f ambient outside, also the humidity fluctuates too much so a grabbed a split a/c to have controle over my environement, and now i'm wondering, what about the fresh air plants need since the split a/c only circulates air while cooling it

my plants have been sealed up since 2009 with no use of the outdoor air, in or out.
95-105 outdoors is nothing for cannabis.
my greenhouse has shown 130 and the weed was thriving. dont over think this

doesn't the fact of not having fresh air rich of co2 if you don't provide that co2 artificially affect the speed of growth?
also everyone says ideal temps are around 75°f and goes as low as 60° so temps like 130 would definitely slow the growth drastically, ain't that what you wanna avoid exept if you don't mind weasting time? regardless of the health of the plant though..
i'm not arguing just wanna understand
i'm lucky anough to have a room with a balcony that has full day sunlight, but i noticed that when they are out, even with a fan pointing on them, they smell alot, meaning the thc is evaporating meaning the trichomes are popping, in the cold it smells way less= thc kept (this is for the last days only since i just harvested top buds of one and left other half for more couch lock crop,

Because there is a strong smell from plant it means the trichs are popping? Earlier you wanted do nasty and unspeakable things to your plant and now trichs are popping? Not sure where you are getting your info from, but I would like to suggest that you do some proper research and educate yourself so that your growing experience will be both more enjoyable and productive. Good luck and best wishes.

    grow bible, asap.

plant breathe c02. without enough they die. insufficient and all kinds of deficiencies occur. Outdoors there is an ambient c02 ppm constant, at every surface of ever leaf. when it gets hot the plant metabolizes faster, using more resources, including c02.

Not much of an issue outdoors because the c02 is always circulating with the air. Indoors not so much. you cannot replicate the earths air movement and c02 saturation indors but we find if we keep a room up around 1000ppm and use our best fans we can keep c02 available to the plant surfaces. However indoor heat will overcome our ability to provide every needed resource in a timely manner, and the plant suffers.

temps at 130 are not ideal indoors or out, but outdoors a plant will survive for periods of this high heat, not so much indoors.

    smell and heat=

grab your dirty shorts from the hamper and warm them up, sun, oven, they stink more too aye?

trichomes dont pop, they made of wax and hold essential oils, if they popped they are damaged and will degrade quickly on the plant. trichomes dont evaporate either. flowers smell stronger during a hot summer day compared to a cool morning right?

grow bible, right now, before this gets out of hand and I start taking nibbles.... http://www.catnews.org/FREE Pot Books/

Indoor gives nice bud but expensive af. If you can reconcile the blatant misuse of power you will be able to get her to do what you want. All of that expensive gear still can't do what sol can do. Argue this please
