Update before lights turn off. I am curious what you guys think the discoloring might be? Some of the ends are burnt a little which could be nutrient burn? Or maybe they might be too close to the light? I moved the light up another 8 inches or so just in case.

You`re spot on with the brown tips and light/heat stress Caddy. Otherwise they`re looking great, starting to wear-down their N reserves and will keep bulking up for ya here. Excellent man, how far you`ve come ... :D. What`s your nutrient regimen look like these days Caddy? ATB!

Thanks KC. The last heavy feeding I did was 6 tsp of grow big, 6 tsp of big bloom, and 5 tsp of tiger bloom, 2 tsp of sweet raw, 2 tsp of silica blast, in a 1 gallon jug to a ph of 6.5 ish

You may want to step off the Tiger Bloom a touch mate, seeing some very slight Phos burn in your canopy, nothing to be overly worried about. Otherwise, great work mate, I`ll get you off those FF nutes before too long and over to Botanicare with me ;)

Hey Caddy looking great. Do you ammend your soil with lime? Might be a slight Mag def, looks like some rust spots developing on some of those yellow leaves. Bud formation is on point right now tho, they are bulking and looking phenomenal. Props mate!

Thanks for your input Stone! I did put some dolomite lime in with the soil before i transplanted but maybe not enough....what would be the best way to help the deficiency of mag?

another update coming in a few hours :)

I`ll naturally let Stone give you his screening method, but for my own I use PVC tubing 1/4 inch (usually a 10` piece will do ya), T fittings, elbows, twine and a few screws, very easy. I essentially make a cube with the PVC (depending on container size, but I like 24in x 24in (or 2 x 2 )). Then I drill holes in the top of the top box every 4in apart, insert the screws, and use the twine to make your over-under trellis :). I like it because I can also tie-down to the PVC frame as well for more options later, and doesn`t require the joints to be cemented, thus coming apart very easily afterwards. Would be a great option for this run Caddy, sure Stone will chime in on his screen successes, if you haven`t already, you should check out his 250W Hempy thread! ATB

Brilliant! Thank you! This is exactly what I have been struggling (and failing) to try and work out in my head for the past few days. And now you've told me how to do it! Thanks for sharing your experience. Lady H x

Great thread, I just whizzed through it all. Your plants look amazing Caddy.
I'm stalking all of you here now!
I'd also love it if you came and had a look at my sick and droopy Jamaican Pearl (I've got a sativa too)...am at a loss as what to do.
Subbed.

Another update. They are looking MUCH better. Gave them a 10 gallon flush yesterday combined with some silica blast.

I think your issue was with pH Caddy, being too base. The SSH likes a light bump in pH mid-late flower, allows her to reach full potential. Too base pH is often mistaken for Mag/Ca deficiency ... hence why your ladies bounced back nice ... the Silica Blast is a pH up as well :). Looking great Caddy

All about uptake my friend :D. I have a chart here somewhere I`ll post up for you that shows optimal nutrient uptake is at different pH levels during different stages of plant growth (chart for cannabis profile). Pretty interesting if I can find it, show all elements and their respective levels as well..

Looks like you have things going good Caddy. KC speaks the truth, base ph is fine during veg but cannabis can be a bit touchy in flower. Love to see that chart too KC.

Keep her going strong Caddy!

Sorry about lateness guys, had to sleep, haha. Anyways, here she is, pretty handy resource ... I suggest a Save-As :D

Ze ph&nutrients1.jpg

The other one I have shares flowering ppm info but is messy to read ... have to re-input into Excel or something, haha

Happy growing!

Thanks Stone! Hopefully they will remain this way until its time to harvest!
