Excellent! I write everything down that I do or change in my routine. It really helps to isolate problems when you do everything consistently and track any changes you make. And ya the ph down is some powerful stuff, I like to mix my nutes and let them sit for a bit. Then test ph and use just a couple drops from a syringe like this. SAM_1067.jpg Just a few small drops is enough to drop ph by a tenth or two. When are you planning to flip? Looking forward to it. Peace

Oh wow okay those are a lot BIGGER drops than I use maybe thats why it only takes a few drops from you vs me it was like 10 drops. Yea I will put nutes in and let it sit as well next time. Thanks for the help!.

I actually switched the lights to 12/12 a few days ago :) I will take a picture of them today

Looking great Caddy! Too bad about the low female ratio, could be worse tho, one is better than none. Are you flipping soon? Or do you have 12ft ceilings? :o Lol looking forward to the rest. Peace

Yea 1 is definitely better than none. Ive already flipped the lights about 1 week and 2 days ago. I just took them outa the tent before the lights turned off to snap some photos of them :)

They ARE looking really healthy Caddy, you`ve now gotten your Sativa-control somewhat refined :p. I`ll be excited to see the improvemet from your last grow with just a bit of experience under your belt :D

My attempt to even out the canopy! I am starting to understand why that is important :)

Man...the more I look at your plants KC the more I think mine are too "bushy".....should I be trimming some of the larger fan leaves? I always thought it was good to have a bushy plant....

Its good and it isn`t :). I`ve had to whack off quite a bit to maintain some order in the tent. That`s the part you have to get down still Caddy is selective topping.

When I prune a branch it`s either to dedicate growth to another part of the plant, clear airflow in and around dense buds which limits humidity and eventually, mold and/or rot, or lastly, the leaves aren`t getting light below canopy. You won`t have to worry about clearing unless you`re running real warm or you get later in flower. I highly suggest topping the plant more than once though :D. I`ll be around Caddy

Okay that makes sense. Yea im sure its just second nature to you which branch to prune...I will definitely be getting better as i get more grows under my belt. Thanks for the info!

I have topped the plant at each node that came up after training it around the container (besides the main stalk) so there are about 13 (just counted) heads in all. I will take a picture when the lights come back on they are looking really nice! a nice even canopy :)

Here is a few pics of the beauty after a flush yesterday combined with some silica blast! The bottom right head is the main stem in the 2nd picture

Looking outstanding Caddy! If I could add on to what KC said about trimming, never trim too much at one time say maybe 10-15% of total leaf mass. Also only remove fan leaves which are either below the canopy level and not getting light or blocking lower sites from getting light. Never remove all fan leaves from a budsite though, always leave at least a couple fans on each. I also try to remove any leaf that is yellowing below the canopy, this means that they are no longer photosynthesizing and just leeching.

Looking forward to these beautiful SSH's filling out Caddy! Peace

I`ll second what Stone said mate, done at great job! Don`t know if I`ve ever been able to keep a SSH run as squat as you have here, you`re going to be in for a nice harvest if all those heads can maintain an even canopy ... whoa. You going to screen that Caddy? If you think you want to (to spread those heads out), fire away, haha. Stone has great success with screens on individual plants, and I`ve had my share of experience as well. Want to see this girl optimized for your efforts friend. ATB,

Haha thanks KC! Dude I so want to screen it but im scared that I will fck something up >.<. I don't really know what im doing quite yet with screening so i might let this one grow like the last one and hoping to get the buds to fatten up real nice....i ono man i want to but i dont want to at the same time lol.

If I do decide to, what are some screens that have worked out for you both? Is this something I can easily make or maybe get at a hyrdo store?
