Bestva ,Led's

Hi All,
I ,know very little about Led's, & was wanting to try a summer grow, in a 1.4 x 1.4 metre tent, my line of thought is, there a lot cheaper to run, & the tent shouldnt get as hot.
In searching for a led that will do the job, i came across these Bestva lights, & they make a 1200 & 1600 watt led, does anybody know anything about these Led's. or has any one any better idea's ??
Im lead to believe that the led's are now producing as well as HPS, is this so , or is the jury still out
The specifications for the 1200 watt Bestva led say it will cover my area , any idea's , please

The 1200 watt is around $300 usd, if i need to spend more for a better result i will
I know a grower who used 2 600 watt Mars, but said his yield was about 25% less than 2 600 Hps, would that be right ??

Hmmm, Bestva, never heard of them. Do you have a link? Might ad them to my grow lights list. My advice, if you aren't going to build your own, don't skimp on your light and get a cheap one. You get what you pay for. There are some really quality lights out there though they come with a price tag.

After checking the specs.. the 1200 watt uses 240 watts and the 1600 watt uses 350 watts.. they look like
all the rest of the Chinese leds. .Blurple!! You need to look at cob leds...

Thats very odd. I killed it with Mars lights, however COB is what you want

Well now im confused (not hard to do ), i know even less about Cob, what size would i need? do they throw red/blue light?& will they do the entire job ie; veg & flower

Start at the beginning, and take a deep breath. How big is your space, in terms of canopy and grow, veg n bloom? That's going to be your starting point.

I recommend more smaller units rather than fewer big ones; they tend to be more flexible and versatile.

Efficiency costs money but pays it back with interest in terms of stealth, energy and HVAC savings. You can get/build less efficient COB lights that will definitely preform and they'll be a bit less costly, just warmer.
