best way to quick dry a little smoke

Hey people, my plants are just a couple days away from harvest now, I plan on air drying and curing, but I'm going to need a little smoke to last me till they is finished, I was wondering about the best way to quick dry a little herb to smoke while I wait for the good shit, I don't know If Id want to microwave it or anything like that, but am open to any ideas, it would only be like a bowl or a J's worth at a time. Thanks for the help guys! :)

Mr I Can Do That For Half
There really is no quick dry way that doesnt destroy the wedd.Fastest would be if you bought like a BC drier which is around 2 grand or build a home made drier like Al B Fuct has otherwise just air dry with fans for a week or so then month or 2 cure

take some of the small leaves off your nugs and dry on a window sill in full sun for a couple of days. it'l take 3/4 days.

Ummm im not the smartest person in the world but dont do this method, im pretty sure light degrades THC

you could use a hair dryer to dry them out, i dont know if it would ruin it or not but i've done it with the leavs of my plant.

Uhhh I know how to render buds smokeable in about 5 min, if you really want a toke. Its soo irritating when you have like 10 oz drying, and no smokeables, or money. Take a brown paper bag, and place you're buds in there. Microwave them for 20 seconds at a time, stirring, untill desierd texture is achieved. Now, before you go all crazy about microwaving buds and say its horrible, it's not. Yes, it does de-grade the weed, taste, odour and smoke wise, but microwaving bud does NOT degrade the potency in anyway. All the THC stays where it was, and none is lost. However, one must be careful. Its easy to burn the bud, but its alos easy to do it right. Just do a joint or two, enough to last you the day. And remember, it is essintial to stop every 20 seconds and stir it around, but when done, you will end up with a little harsher smoke, but a bong ususally fixes that up good. Hell you could even vapourize it.

i found tht it helps to do it with a damp paper towel around the bud and just do the same little 20 sec increments. it helps it dry slower and perserve the taste/smell better. id rather do it the right way but if u tht desperate then go for it.:eyesmoke:

The microwave would have to be the worst way to quick dry , use your oven (prefer. fan forced) set at about 90 for about 5 to 10 min and keep an eye on it .

You can take a few buds ... enough for a couple or three joints ... put them in the micowave .... nuke them for 10 sec on high .... let them cool ... repeat until dry ... should take about 12 10 second nukes to dry .... very quick for the emergency smoke ....

.... also you can do nuke slower .... by nuking for 10 seconds then 20 mintues or so then repeat until dry ... or nuke a few times then allow to dry the rest by air should take a few hours ....

just thinking out loud here, but what if u put a little on a tray and then put it in the oven with the temparature really low

Hey all,
I found a pretty good method to quick in a pinch. I try it tonight and am still buzzing.
What you need:
Convection Roaster Oven.
I have one that sits on the counter. It has a thaw setting.
Trim all the leaves, place on the tray inside (you may want to cover the tray with foil as I did). Make sure the bud is weighed down with something to prevent it from blowing all around in there. ( I placed a fork on top of the stem)
Put on thaw for 3 minutes, left lid, fan off bud, turn over, replace lid and set for another 3 minutes.
Take it out again, fan it off and try another 2 to 3 minutes if not all dry.
After this take it out, chop it up and stick in your bong.
The taste is not too bad ( I have smoke a lot worse). The buzz is good. I am still buzzing from it.
This is a quick dry method only in a pinch. I will try this again cause it sure worked well.

Just get a food dehydrator at Wal Mart for about $25 and you can quick dry in a day. This is the best and cheapest way to quick dry bud....and when your not drying bud, you can make beef jerkey.
