i'm about ready to harvest. i'm trying to find out wat is the best method to dry and cure. is the best way to dry is to hand the buds upside down or wat. last time i just laid them out and let them dry. then put it in jars for a while to cure. i opened them about 3 times a day so it could kinda air-rate. i want to hear your alls opinions. thanks.:weed:

I hang them for 4 or 5 days. I found hanging them they stay nice round little nugs instead of flattening out. Then they go in a jar, and like you said for the first few days I air it out a few times a day.

i think you should hang dry for a week+ and then cure in jars for 2-4 weeks and burp the jar daily

I usually go buy how it burns. If I can roll a joint and it stays lit it's ready for the jar. Just my humble opinion.

Thats what I do, then they go into a Private fridge at 41 degree's.

Yeah I will have to grab that High Times tomorrow and post the high temp and how it will decrease 3x faster.

Ok Sept 09 High Times says (Dr Mitch)~
Keep it dry, dark, cool and free from air. Thc levels drop by only 7% after nearly a year in a dark, dry fridge set at 41 F. But at a balmier 68 F the THC levels droped twice as fast- and exposure to light tripled the loss.

to rollin20crips, yes it may in fact suck off unnecessary parts of your bud as well as the fact that it only comes in the lowest of 1/4 inch increments.

if you had 5lb+ to do and all by yourself and it had to be done by a certain time or you would recive a violation (15 to the chest) then maybe-- but not for a personal stash
