There for sale in a few shops around town, I dont have the money to invest 1-2 thousand on an oven, and ive been doing the thermos method for too long now, I want something semi-proper.. are these a good bang for the buck? anyone have any experience with them?

This is the one I was thinking of getting..

It should work and you really don't have to throw money at it. Easy enough to just make your own.

It doesn't mention details on the heat pad or control, which is an important feature to consider.

Here is the original work we did on it at SPR, and used until we switched to vacuum ovens.

Here is the original work on turning an old Napco oven into a reliable unit for that phase.

I use this brand vacuum and it works great. I've had it a couple of years and it's chugging along. Just make sure you keep the oil changed.

I sit the vacuum chamber on a temp controlled Cimarec hot plate and let it do its thing. Perfect results every time
