Best turnkey setup for vertical growing now

Hey guys, been a number of years since I last posted but I'm contemplating/dreaming about the kind of results I could get if I grew in a vertical system! So are the turnkey systems worth the cash? Been looking at ""AGROWTENT" duel tent setups with rocckwool slabs as there quite cheap and budha boxes. Seems difficult to find out which are the tried and tested performers

I think they're way overpriced for what you get. And it always seems that the little parts that they include arent that great. Air-pumps, water pumps ect ect. Ive done Hempy buckets, store bought dirt in 5 gallon pots, DWC, RDWC, and had an attempt at aero (i failed lol). And now, for the money, ease of use, I'm on the organic no till bandwagon. I just set up 4 20 gallon pots, 2 1k bare-bulbs and a watering system for it. I might have spent a grand. And other then pruning and throwing on some earthworm casting when switching to bloom, I dont do shit with it. When i harvest Ill throw on some amendments, some more casting, and plant clover, and plant another plant. Pretty easy shit. I got a journal going on. Link in my sig.

Well I mean per watt he seems to be almost matching vertical in a much simpler to manage setup but takes up a little bit more horizontal space if that is an issue. My worry would be vertical is more of a guessing game on how to space and veg for sog but regular sog is easier so might yield better first few runs? What do you guys reckon?

I guess plant count could be an issue if you're not in a weed friendly place :)

Id love to do sog, but the plant count would land me in prison.

I dont know that anyone will argue how fast you can grow in a well done SOG. But thats normally something that people do who are selling. Try and tailor your system to your needs. From seed you got 8 weeks of veg and 8-15 weeks bloom depending on strain. Then 30 days of dry/cure. My family consumes around 1.5 ounces a week. So my minimum is 30 ounces. I grow 4 plants. So i need 7.5 ounces per plant. To last through till the next harvest.
