As for the low pressure a simple bleed of the pump fixes that,
But your not talking a budget press rig now with all the things u want on a press

I would say save your pennies and go with a dake then. A friend of mine who presses alot of rosin had a baleigh, another nice press, and says the dake is far superior, especially for long presses because it holds the pressure. Most presses will require you to keep pressure on the level to maintain.

Not entirely true. As with many things in this industry, often products are grossly overpriced for what they are and need sorting through to figure out whats shit and who is charging a fair price for the product they are offering. When i was looking into building my setup i found HF setups with 3x5 plates and single heat controls for $1200. A nice set of plates and duel heat control $4-600, HF press, $100. Factor in needing to profit on the press, $300, tops. $7-900 range would be a fair price.

I have priced many, many rosin presses, plates, etc. Most of the all-in-one rosin presses are very expensive. The cheap ones appear to be either extremely small or extremely crappy quality. I think if I can get the Dake press for ~$375 shipped and combine that with my new $400 Low Temp Plates kit, then I'm still doing pretty good as far as putting together a nice, quality setup for quite a bit less money than most of what's out there.

Please tell it can press bearings and ball joints out too. that is the thing I want a large press for the most.
Yeah I can use mine for other things as well the difference in frame is why I got a 20 ton over a 12 ton
Larger jack just will last longer with the headroom as well

I just ordered the Dake on sale on Ebay for $371 shipped and it will be here next Wednesday. I hope I get the plates/rig by next week, too....but I haven't heard from them that the order has shipped yet. I'll have to get some odds and ends like rosin bags and a piece of thick leather to use as insulation for the plates...Looking forward to getting into this! I'll never have to store an excess amount of flowers anymore! Now, I can press the excess flowers before they go stale and also take up a LOT less space!

I'll probably saute' the pressed pucks in some coconut oil and then, finally, use whatever organic matter is left over as compost in my vegetable garden!

I put a home built bench press together. Just finishing it off over the next couple weeks. Waiting on parts is the worst
I don't have the price for the custom press I had made as of yet either
I don't even know if its gonna work or not. But it was fun putting it together and at least..it doesn't need a corner of a room to be set up

Got the electric 20 ton press from dh love it it’s built like a tank arrived quick 2 weeks tops company was great they have checked with me couple times since purchase no issues of yet we use it constantly: it’s push button no air compressor no hand pump. Knob controls the pressure believe the lesser identical model does not have pressure control knob dual heated plates digital read out timer built in everything u need for 1200-1400$. Remove from well made crate shipped in plug in 10 mins plates heated push button rosin away. U can start the pressure low and increase it as the press does its thing 10-15 seconds of adding pressure before it stops applying will hold for time set or emergency stop button can be hit start button hit rapidly to start pressure over add more pressure if needed like adding more with hand pump in way

Speedy recovery... Thinking of going with the low temp plates as well but with the harbor freight 20 ton and modifying the grade 4 bolts with grade 10 bolts as many have specified it as a safety issue
