Best possible method of air flow in a limited size grow space

I'm beginning today on my journey to grow and harvest my own buds. I have been reading and researching constantly and am ready to get it off the ground.

I live in an apartment with limited space available to devise a functioning grow room, so I am resorting to the closet method (which I hear is not so bad if cared for properly).

Im going to grow between 1 and 3 plants in the closet, with all the proper lighting and space requirements. I am reading alot about the importance of airflow and ventilation to the process.

Does anyone have suggestions on the best way ventilate and regulate the airflow in such a confined space?

The measurements of the space is apr. 2x2x5, and I am planning on using an HID lighting system.

Advice/suggestions very very much appreciated!

i have never used hid or hp but i reckon you will need cooltube to run either of them, got your work cut out i think, what size light?

I actually havent figured that out yet. Is that going to make a significant difference in the amount of ventilation I need?

if you are using mh i reckon a 250 with cool tube, 2ft x 2ft isnt big so should be ample. i use 3x200 watt envirolites in a space 33 inches hi, 28 inches wide and 18 inches deep.even these get a little hot in summer.you should really ask someone who uses mh for a better answer though.i also do 12-12 from seed.

Thats tough because its an apartment. You should be able to run a 400watt mh in there no prob with an air cooled reflector and a oscillating fan. If you can cut holes for the duct work( 4 or 6" hole) depending on reflector. If you cant cut holes on the closet you should be all rite with the door open and a fan. If you cant keep the door open i would think about using cfls. Im currently growing in a space 2'x3'x6'. Im using a 400 watt mh/hps. during the day i keep my door open with a fan and it keeps the temp at 84degrees. In the dark period it stays about 75 with the fan. Good luck, I hope this helps

you will need air intake and outtake. a 100mm fan for extraction at the top of the closet and you might get away with a passive intake hole the same size at the bottom of the closet. you can use a 250w hps without a cooltube if you have good ventilation like this. my closet is pretty much the same size but slightly taller, i cut holes with a hole saw attachment on a drill. i did it on the closet roof and at the back bottom corner so they are fairly hidden.
