There are so many leds out there my head is spinning.
my choices so far that i think are good are.

Platiunum Advanced led p-450
Advenaced Led p400 wuth 10 watt cree lights.
Gr8 Led but dont like the fact that they recommend the 150 dollar flower red light
Mars 2?

Will take any tips, i plan on growing 3 plants in soil and using 3 gallon smart pots.

All use cxb and/or vero29 cob and Meanwell driver...and all are in the gpw range...the one you mentioned maybe 0.5/0.6gpw so less than hps!
Go for white cob and you will be an happy grower like me...lol!

heavenbright needs to be off anybodys recommend list until somebody proves it out to be safe and reliable.

Any light company that still states one wattage in it's name, but only draws half that is garbage.
True. But some people don't have the money to buy the best of the best. So use these other products as a stepping stone to get you in the position to buy the best. Unless , the other light company will bring their prices down to accommodate every growers financial situation

one would be better off with household leds or hids, than to buy a piece of garbage like that will be lucky to last more than a few grows.

shoot even a spectrum king will beat that junk.

There is someone on you tube who did a grow with a king led along side the mars. It speaks for itself . Also, there are growers using the mars led's and getting good results . Me, I don't care.. if companies want their products bought then be reasonable with the price especially for small time growers.

Many innocent people have taken that stepping stone of cheap LEDs,slipping on it, and finding themselves on their ass in the mud. They spent the money they did have on junk and still not have decent results.

$600 will light any 3x3 tent with quality Cree or vero cob units on this site. Mars has the reputation they do for a reason.

Yes, you are correct . Help me with a Cree or Vero cob unit that I can use in veg and in bloom. I have a 6×4 area .

It might be good to light part of the area with quality cob unit and suppliment with a small hps until more money arrives. DIY is a great option if you are capable. Not a high skill level required, some tools and fingers that work. How to and sourcing info available on this forum.

High quality LEDs and especially cobs really are that much better. One other plausible option may be Philips cdm 315watt. Impressive and getting affordable.

I have a Mars 2 900w in my 3x3 and I've gotten solid results for the money. I've had it for a year now with now issues. I usually have 4 plants in the tents and pull atleast 2 oz per plant

I'm fully on the led ban wagon get you a nice set of T5s or HPS and don't look back. WAY more bang per buck to be had with those 2 options.

How much do you pull from your hps?
You will need to change your bulb often 1/1.5year and your reflector 3/4years...not with cob!
And the heat...vents...
And the crop man...the crop...much more than with hps!
No way for me to go back...never...no many heat factory in my grow rooms!
