Best Hiding Places?

I'd say the best hiding place is one of thos huge gun safes that can be bolted to the wall and floor. It'd take a mack truck to pull that thing loose, and it'd take a torch to break into it.

If you get in it with a torch they better be refunding with some additionally added funds because a lot of safes provide heat specs up to a certain degree and well the saying goes get what you pay for you worried about your shitty roommate get a sentry safe if your putting some serious artifacts or or need it to outlive the person still trying to get in go elsewhere..I'm not gonna name or vouch for any top lines because I personally have my m4 *semi* ar15 and a plain Jane bolted gun safe but I gotta agree with tbone on the matter just adding some additional information on the topic point being - if they pass all other measures and can get to or your safe out of your house well then you didn't appreciate the items in safe enough think like a ocd individual by all ways thinking of ways to steal or harm lose etc all the negative thinking will cause other issues but will keep your shit safe from every one but yourself... Its a give and take on that option it's just how much is up to you hopefully this could of helped along tbones already great advice

Ok an honest answer besides a hole in the yard, I'd highly recommend a trusted family member, divide it by two or three if possible, so that should you need access to it(jail), it's easily accessible. Another good idea is to store it secretly in say grandma's house(if you know she ain't going nowhere, no plans on selling her home s and it's going to be passed down should she pass away)
