I've been to Antwerp and Brugges (and of corse, Bastogne) but never Brussels. I have been told it is kind of dull. But are we really arguing the "best" when such things are a matter of taste?

The Belg have some truly world class beer. While I am not well versed in the local brands, I have visited a couple of Abbeys and always been a fan of their beer.

But now we are comparing a beer tradition several hundred years old with a tradition of brewing in the USA that goes back a couple of decades (for all intents and porpoises).

Beer lovers of the world unite. Don't buy into this feud.

That's kicks ass Sunny Jim. I am jelly. But can you tell me what the heck is up with that white asparagus? And squab? Really?
I bought the missus' engagement ring in Antwerp - huge diamond trade there. And yes, Brussels is quite dull in parts. Outside of the old town, there seems to be an 'anything goes' planning policy, which certainly doesn't help achieve much architectural fluency. Shame. The opposite is true of where I live in Scotland - you need planning permission to trim a tree in your back yard in order to preserve the beauty of the area.

As for the beer debate, I completely agree. Taste is subjective, and one man's nectar is another man's <insert gross liquid>. There are a few European countries known for their beer-brewing skills, though; Czech Republic, Belgium, and Germany spring to mind.

Ha! Yeah, well they did give us waffles and awesome chocolate, so you gotta take the rough with the smooth.

The best beer in the world is in the United States. We also have the best cannabis, it is not even close.
The city of San Diego alone makes better beer than most of the world.

There was better weed in Colorado in the 1990s than Holland. With medical and recreational I doubt Holland has been able to keep up.
Well I've yet to have a good American beer Corona and Heineken are about my favorites more so Corona.

But yeah I guarantee Holland has some great growers that are just as good as anyone in the USA maybe you need to go to the right shop and strain but you would have to be naive to think none of them can grow as good as an American. Shit I bet Germany has some dank weed just need to find it. It's indoor I don't see how CO or CA would be best Strawberry Cough was from VT, Bubblegum Indiana and Diesel from NYC I'm sure a lot more if we get legalization on the East Coast and come out of hiding. :bigjoint:

what r u talkin little brother ?
You're no brother of mine. Had you been, our father would've knocked the shit out of you long ago for being a peasant and bringing our family into disrepute. No joke. He also wouldn't have let you bastardize the English language with your piss-poor grammar. Genuinely, you should be embarrassed.

lol..I consider something like Coors, one of the few commercial beers i like, as a light beer. Usually I'm drinking something from Sam Adams, I still have a case and a half of Octoberfest in the basement..I should have bought more. I do drink Bud light a bunch in the summer, but that's so I don't have to bring beer AND water with me to the beach...:clap:and it does go down a little easier when it's 90 and blasting sun.

Those are what my drunk friends call "maintenance beers."
Maintenance beers are for when you are pretty buzzed and do not want to waste a good beer.
My fridge right now has 3 Odell IPA ($40 a case), 5 Racer 5 IPA ($35 a case) about 17 Coors Light ($20 a case) and some Costco Light beer ($11.50 a case, lol).

I usually drink a few good beers and then switch to CL or some other lighter beer.

I was in Holland in 1998. I went to 157 different shops with a local. I was not really that impressed. CA, CO and OR have gone nuts since then. There are far more growers here. It is not a stretch to say we have more and therefore better weed. I did say weed, not growers.

I can go to a store and buy some very good cannabis for less than $150. The quality has gone up exponentially since 2009 when Obama gave us tacit approval.

There is dank every where. In CO you can buy it in a store.

People can go to stores and buy those seeds here.
Some of the best stuff I see here is from small time growers that do not sell. Every time I see this one guy I beg him for a cut of his Polar Bear (not the variety online, he has had this plant for a long time). It looks like it is an Ice plant, but he made it himself. Afghani, Skunk and Northern Lights plus some plants he does not know what they are.
I smoked some with him and was blown away. I smoke all day long and his weed almost gave me a panic attack. I thought about pulling over for a minute when I was driving home.

<cool story Hansel>

I can not wait for legalization. Eventually we will be able to go to a store and specifically design a plant and take a cutting home.

I dont think that was the question. One person is not indicative of a regions quality of booze or buds

Cali, Colorado, Oregon, hawaii

Hawaii hands down best herb oit there. No other state can match those environmental conditions!!!

Outdoor atleast! Even hawaii outdo is better than most indo
