I've seen quotes from African Americans saying they "felt invisible" to Bernie's campaign. This coming from volunteers for Bernie's campaign that were tasked to reach out to black fraternities.

I can't say I know Bernie is racist but he didn't do enough to reach out to them. It wouldn't have cost him much. Especially for a campaign that was full of symbolism, why didn't Bernie make a better show of reaching out and campaigning for black and brown votes? A person who values diversity would have. So, yeah, there might be a streak of racism and discomfort dealing with the black community.

But you know? Bernie lost. He's not running for anything that I know of right now. The movement he started has gone full out against even discussing "social justice". The reason? (I paraphrase): We don't want to offend anybody. That I find distinctly racist.

actually the first time I've ever heard the phrase "virtue signal" was from Ben shapiro, he's waaaaaaaaaaaay more Jewish than you though so no worries.
